Purple Rhino?

I've recently obtained a clone of supposed 'Purple Rhino'. I've never heard of this, and neither has the person that I got the clone from. He got it from another grower who swears it is Purple Rhino. I'm currently slowly growing it out along with a Love Potion clone to be my bonzai moms, so I haven't had a chance to see it in action.

My only thought is that it is a Purple pheno of White Rhino, which would be sweet .. but, I won't be able to tell for sure until I flower one out.

So.. anyone heard of this?

if its the one thats been going around the net its the purple pheno of nirvana's white rhino or one found from dr.loads beans. he's been working on it for a while now i think he's up to f4. trying to isolate the purple pheno only while not sacrificing quality

Yup, Outlaw Grower is spot on, Dr Load grew out a pack of nirvana White Rhino in 2004 and found a purple pheno (Nirvana's strains are mostly crosses of clones to Mau's special Purple Skunk male). I grew some of the F3s and they were pretty damn good, but not anything really special, the really colourful pheno was stunning though to look at. The good Doctor spread those beans far and wide and it's become quite well known so it may well be what you have.

Thanks for the info guys. From what I can see of the leaf structure in those pics, it does look pretty similar to what I've got . Can't wait to flower some out.

I read in that thread by the person who posted the pics that it's best to flower 10wks+ which seems a little longer than I would have thought. Anyone else have any experience with this?

I see purple rhino in threads back to 2005/2004 - any further development with this strain, or did it fall off the map?

I have seed labled F% ,I know it was at F4 so these must be the new beans out.
