ok about 5 days from sprout, looking good, just 1 single thazexskunk1 from sam the skunkman!

no nutes, just distilled water, growing in fox farm ocean forest, under T5 24" light.


I was wondering with my soil im using when should i start using my nutes?? i have aqua flakes from house and garden for nutes and SWEET , also have dyna-gro k-l-n rooting concentrate and superthrive.

Another question is if i regularly smoke in my room with the windows and doors closed, and my plant is growing in there does it effect it?

Hey super grower

That soil should have enough nutes for 4 to 6 weeks adding any nutes sooner than this will increase the likelyhood of nute burn.

Most soil has sufficient nutes to cover the whole veg peroid unless u are reusing soil...................as for smoking in the room I do it all the time and have never had any problems..

Sprouts look great and she sounds like a awesome cross, im sure almost anything from sam is worthwhile. Smoking in your room is good for them because we exhale co2 along with the smoke. besides its fun

i too have the thunk thia haze skunk but i want to plant them outdoors and get as much as i can from them. they look good so far and keep it up and yea smoking in there has no advers affects from what ive seen on my own plants.

those girls have only been in veg 2 weeks, under a 600watt HPS.
topped once (both of them) lastnight. im wanting clone sites though, not bud sites. next week, they will be in flower, but just untill i see sex.

Like my man Piston here, i will be growing these outdoors. no room in my bed for a monster like that. (literally) i sprouted 2 of the 5 seeds (freebies) i got, hoping i got a female!

one of the lucky girls will become my oneP-oneP (one plant - one pound)experiment

yeah i know man but it just seems like everyone else that is on the same day on other grows are way bigger, i know it differs from strains, but i need to get a fast growing strain, anyone care to chime in?!?!

It is very possible that the FFOF is to hot for a new seedling. I personally have killed, severely stunted or severly burned at least fifty seeds before i realized this. Watch for yellowing, if this happens wait until medium is dry and then flush. This is not garaunteed to work but it will be your only hope to save such a young seedling.

hey thanks a lot dieselboy....that might be the problem, cuz otherwise i dunno what the problem is.... anyways i used a 1inch grodan rockwool cube to start it in, so i let that dry out and then pour a shit load of water all over the soil and let it drain out?

its prolly that jacked up FFOF soil that you using...i know you dont want to hear that
its just too hot for seedlings...many threads on this...
its def not an under watering issue cuz your soil looks wet enough could be over watering but i doubt it.
yellowing leaves at this early stage = over ferts = shotty soil mix.

grow your seedlings in a no fert added soil mix till twice the size of what you have now! Then theyll be able to handle the hot FFOF.

Rooted cuts are one thing when it comes to putting planting into Ocean Forest. But, when you are dealing with small seedlings Stalldaworld has it right, its too much for them. They won't die if you leave them in the soil, just don't feed them anything but water for a while... 3 weeks would be a good ball park.

Next time use old (already used) OCean Forest for seedlings.

Then, you'd just have a hot, areated mix. OP, if you want them to grow faster give them more light hours. Also, it's true about starting them in 'hot' soil, some strains can take it and some can't and some can take it but it affects them negatively like stunted growth. Good Luck!
