does it matter which to use a male kalimist on a female c99.
or a male c99 crossed to a kali female plant.
and like say c99x kalimist witch would dominate the cross the c99 or the kali.
or it does not matter ether way .crossing the 2 strains i will find some of both.
some leaning c99 and some kali and some 50/50 a mix of both. or could i end up with a pheno that is something never seen.

Well Dan.. I would use the 2 best plants doesn't matter which is male or female.

As for male or female..that has nothing to do with dominance..certain traits from each will be past on. Some will be more Dom then others..

I think C99 is a dom strain, much like SourDiesel..

no matter which way you go, you will not know the quality of the male until you test the progeny. Why not go both ways?

Well quite easily ...by their traits..

So you think males don't show traits? Some of the male traits I look for are Structure(ie short internodes/ big hollow stem) smell, taste, and trichs is always a plus..

I think C99 is a dom strain, much like SourDiesel..

I did a few crosses using the femaleseeds.nl C99 and it was definitely pretty dominant. The stem structure is almost identical to Cindy in nearly all of the crosses I grew out. The Cindy bud structure and smell seem to show up in the prodgeny about half the time.

well why i ask is i found a male in a pack of Gn collection c99 from 03.the pack was all female seeds .and ther was this pheno that smelled like strong pineapple fruit.and when cured it smelled like cat piss and was strong as any strain grown today.2 hits and the buds are of a foxtail like the one in the picture.but this is the kicker it started out female and has a few female flowers but its mostly male and is sticky as hell. like no other male i have come across.and smells like pure lemon cleaner. and because its the only c99 male i have.i do have a pack of c99 female seeds that i bought at xmas
from the gn collection and ther all female.so it might be my only shot at getting
pollen for my c99 female seeds.and i whant to have more c99 seeds for future
grows. its going to get harder and harder to find c99 in the future.
I crossed a hermie nevillehaze to a ak47 and all the plants are female and
only kick out a nana Every Once In A While.and its sterile and its so late in flower
that it does not matter any how.

In animals the female does pass on the majority of her dna on to her offspring. This doesn't appear to be the same for plants from what I understand (I am by no means an expert). Like others have said you have to try it out both ways if you can.
