m-39 is it still around?

i think in the old catalogue the williams wonder is actually the stock # M31 ...M39 is the sk#1/nl#5 which is Definitely different hence the unlikely photo similarities ..... hope this solves a bit of confusion .Clackamas Coot said:

i was under the impresion that sssc m39 is now sensi's shiva skunk and either m31 or m37 was williams wonder,. need to find out i got some f2's of the old williams wonder from sssc from a older buddy of mine and should have some of rez's williams wonder here soon too want to compare the 2 and make a bunch of them for my cash cropping buddy's (not on the internet, dont even think most of them have ever saw the internet lol)
i'M up here in the north and i gotta tell ya guys the pics of the m-39 i see aren't even close to the cut going on up here in mtl imo i'm sure there a couple of others who would agree.... i'm not sure but the m-39 got it's name by sequential order in the catalogue and their discription is Basic 5(a nothern lights variation) X skunk#1......it just goes insane on flood tables with oodles of co2... 2liter pepsi bottle sized buds....... it has a nice creamy/skunky/peppery odor real nice for bed time smoke but because it's the commercial variety around here along with the jack herer but greedy money hungry growers cut their shit way to early 45 days when all they need is an extra 10 days or so and it would be much much better IMHO i dont particulary like the m when it's cut early it gives crazy heart palpations racey buzz and heavy paranoia not very favorable traits.(when cut early)

Alain Berthiaume, founder of the Quebec Cannabis and Hashish Cup, was sentenced in September to one year in jail for three counts of trafficking at the 2001 Cup, and also sentenced to one year in jail for cultivation of 1,000 clones found at his house six months later.
Berthiaume, founder of Montreal's Hemp Quebec store and seed bank, started the Quebec Cannabis and Hashish Cup in November 1999, and each year it grew bigger and more complex.
In November 2001, over 1,000 guests attended the Montreal celebration, each receiving a judge's kit with eight one-gram samples of pot plus two kinds of hash. Berthiaume himself distributed the kits to his guests. Judges also enjoyed two days of live music and entertainment, plus delicious food (CC#35, Canadian cannabis competitions).
Yet late in the evening on the first day, a dozen police officers entered the hall, and asked Berthiaume to come with them outside. He was then arrested, cuffed and taken to jail.
The next day, a group of about 50 Cup attendees marched through downtown Montreal, led by Cannabis Culture publisher Marc Emery and Canadian Marijuana Party leader Marc-Boris St-Maurice. The group chanted "Free Alain" as they made their way to the police station where Berthiaume was being held.
Berthiaume was released a few days later, and had planned to hold his event again in 2002, despite the arrest and charges. Yet shortly before the November 2002 event, Berthiaume was convicted and sentenced to a year in jail, and so the Cup was cancelled.
Berthiaume appealed his convictions, but his appeals have failed and he must now serve at least most of his one-year sentence.

Hey Wayzer my buddy takes his down at 42-45, I don't find it as good. I've gone 56, 60, and as much as 75. I like 60, it's a nice high that will eventually put you to sleep. Great strain for pain too, have a few friends who swear by the medical benefits of this strain. I think I have the same cut as you, looks identical, mine is from Montreal too. I've done some crossing, and plan on a few more. I'm planning a cross with a SS male for some Super 39

hey black rain! I ve acyualy seen some of ur m39 threads... I dont doubt its the same cut... The guy i got it from called it Double O, but ive heard that name used for many things around... whatever, it's for sure M39!

Thanks man... I'm out to spread the good word on this strain. A real keeper, great all around plant that has a bad name because of a few losers. I can't remember exactly where the cut came from, but I think my buddy said it was from an ex who got a cut from the H/A, all I know is that I'm glad to have access to it. Yeah I'll be doing a bunch of M39 cross's this summer... most won't be stabilized but all the same....

Haven't smoked in a while since I've lost my good contact, all I can find is m-39, the cash croppers in Montreal just flood the market in the surrounding areas with early harvest m-39. like a lot of people have commented it's heart racing paranoia inducing and not worthy of being called an indica , I wish they'd grow it properly.

S1B5, M39, Shiva Skunk...all the same...same P stock...just different names...NOT clone only...Many heirloom cuts, but not clone only...Read something as recent as 2 yrs ago from Sensi regarding all the "nicknames" that the strain has gotten over time...SS was used in the Princess cube 4 sure...
