night before harvest?

i was just thinking the night before u harvest (outdoors) you go to ur plant and cut off most of the bigger leaves and cover the plant was something to block light from next days sun than going back the next night to harvest ur crops... wouldn't this increase ur THC production by alot?

there have been a few threads here on icmag that question increased THC production due to lack of light right before harvest...

out of the articles that I had read, none of them really showed any strong convincing evidence that this is true. I would love to know otherwise....
