There are two seeds there. That's a proper Thai for sure, te huge calyxes are the giveaway. All the calyxes should end up that size on a real Thai.

Now that's something I didn't know. Cheers, Hempire

I've actually got a few seeds of half-decent alleged Thai brick here, may give them a whirl at some stage. The weed looked quite crappy, but I could discern some kinda chocolateness and I liked the high.

So lovely thai plant AfricanErbsMan

Pedro: Fine job you did with her fo shure, now it´s time to enjoy, eh?

Here´s some pics of unknown sativadom. All her sisters did autoflower and she was the only one that didnt.. She has been 22 daze at 12/12 in these pics:

She has some yellowing leafs because I have gave her extrasmall doses of N, so she concentrates in those buds and to fill them. Last time I did flower this "strain" it showed equatorial traits in budformation, so I keep it low on N the whole time now...

:

thank u
maybe i will, if it is starting very well, and the spots give not too much maintenance
it was easy made hole in the low altitude spot, nice soil and easy to drill
but at 1000 meters, there is a lot of rocks, and roots.
very wild !!!
there's still a bit of snow, and the little road near the edge was "fun" driving.

Nice altitude to grow moe  Ill be waiting for a possible diary...

Here´s some shots of veg closet today, as you can see all plants are very bushy, or should I say too bushy, so it´s going to be trimming & training & re-potting in following daze...

Let´s start with a Original Haze x Malawi Gold from marijuanamat´s Crazy x Seeds. She is going to be one of the first flowerers when some floweringspace come available fo´shure!!

She also needs a re-potting since she has been stayin in a 1.5 pot for "awhile"

Then there´s the Kali Most bush who really needs trimming/training/repotting..

What about Swazi Red?

I think I love her  She is definitely the fastes grower in my garden and doesnt need alot training to really branch & perform! I hope she produces top class sinsemilla. I think I cross her with Purple Kush male from Motarebel, or Blockhead :chin:

More pics later, have to go now

But still I have to share this young Swazi, she´s so lovely :D

As you can see it started to produce wider leafs while growing, this young just planted clone still has very thin leafs, while the mother produces wider one´s....

African herbman - is that a seed I can see there? That looks to be one of the biggest I've ever seen!...:chin:

Yep, there’s a few seeds in there. They’re intentional, it’s a cross I hope to be working on in the future.

Hmm, that’s really interesting. I’ve noticed the calyxes have starting to expand just recently. I’m glad it looks like a real Thai, just hope the buds fill out in time. They’re really thin and long at the moment.
Are Thais buds normally this thin and long at 38 days flowering? The bud below is about 15cm long.

Thanks for the kind words Herbalistic! Nice red stems on that Sat dom hybrid you got there. Good to see you running some african genetics man, can't wait for the Rooibaard!

Regards everyone,
Ah

38 days flowering is nothing for a Thai, it's just getting started! Expect her to take at least 120 days!

Thanks for posting those old pics Lou, that does indeed look like a proper Thai you had there.

Here's a Thai I have at the moment from Thai stick seeds, 49 days of 12/12 from seed and no sign of preflowers at all:

Yes BH,i have them thai going NOW too!!

Must say, your thai looks quite sad at the moment??
Needs water or to much, but id say more water buddy!
Yellowing from the bottom up can mean root rot too?

Mine are all very happy and are just showing sex...at a month!
Germed 5 seeds got 4 to germ and i think there all girls!...
Have more seed and plan on keeping the best in clone to make
some seeds when i crack the rest,THEY ARE SUPER VIGOROUS!!
The BIGGEST strain in my garden right now.......
Be back..glad ya like my 1983 pics!

Yeah, I think it's a case of a bit of root rot. i though overfert at first btu then I relaise the three Thais were sitting in the runoff (they;re growing in coco) and I noticed some brown roots through the holes in the bottom of the pot so they aren't getting enough air to the roots. I repotted all three in larger pots and sat them on other pots turned upside down so they aren't sitting in the runoff tray directly and they have started to recover. First time I've had this happen with any plants in coco, it's also happened with my Trainwreck x Mexican only worse. Luckily i have more seeds of both.

I'm gonna give these Thais some TLC, they've been getting a gentle mix of Formulex, seaweed extract and fish emulsion for the last couple of days and are starting to greenup again, shame they have lost some fan leaves. I will take clones as soon as they shox sex then probably pop them back into veg and grow em bushy with many tops.

Just realised, we are growing the same Thai Lou! I bet yours are doing a lot better than mine! At least I can see from this test grow that we probably have some real deal sativa genes on our hands. I really need to start some more Thai seeds when I have the space and make sure I don't fuck em up this time!

Lovely plant you have there Raco, doesn't look all that Thai-like, could be from anywhere in SE Asia - Burma, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, India, who knows, but it looks very good.
