same leaf problem, heat? virus? pics inside! help needed

Hello friends,
I need some help in my recent grow, any input is well appreciated.
First setup info:
Soil.
In about 10 liters pot (2.5 gal.)
Ultra haze #3 by GH.
Week 4 of flower.
Feeding with 6 drop a liter , every second watering, of bio gel which is a sea weed extract. Don't have any P.K. fert now, (next grow is flora nova by lucas's formula). I feed every other time. Water by the "lift the pot" method when the pot is almost dry.
Light: 150 hps
Method of growth: scrog.
Ph: about 7.0 (measured with a strip).
The problem:
The leafs are drying out!
Not only at the tips as you can expect from a burn but ruther from any random place.
Sometimes from the center of the leaf… starts as a dark spot and after about 2-3 days the leaf dies. Not the normal yellowing and dropping you might expect in flower…
b.t.w:
just saw that 2 of the small intake fans ware NOT working, now they do but it makes me belive that it is a heat stress...

Pics:

see how the tips are pointing inward and curly..

the grow light, a 150 hps.

I''d wory about two things .....overnute and/or abnormal ph. Check out Stitch's excellent thread about sick plants/ph and pest troubles at the top of this forum. It should give you alot of information on both problems.

hmmm, there is something with the food transfer, to much or to little.

or you overwatered them.

you know what you did.

Do you have mirror in the grow area? If that's what I'm seeing you should cover it with something white. B&W poly film works very well or coroplast (corrugated plastic).

well.. i have phed the soil...

well.. i have phed the soil...

yep. i guess KNNA was right and it is a p lock out due to ph.
it was in the 7.0 area and i see now that above 6.0 one can expect a lock out...
so- how long till i can tell if the new (5.5) Ph solved the problem?
48 hours?

and yes, sirgrassalot, i have a miror and ii thought it will be better.
from the replyes here i see i was wrong so next time ( amonth from now) i will build a white , plain white inside closet.

no try no cry...
so- how long till i will know?

p.s.
thanks for the usefull info !!!

What kind of P have you been feeding and how much? I'd suspect you are not feeding enough bloom ferts judging by the info you have given, but I would like more ph info.

What did you test with? Did you test runoff? 7 isn't that much out.... 6.3 is ideal, it is the middle of the acceptable range of 5.8 -6.8. Stay away from the outer values of that range.

P def looks like this if not corrected:

i will post a.s.a.p more photos

i will post a.s.a.p more photos

heady pate and stich, thanks for looking, will as i said post more pics without the hps.
m.

updated pics as promised. caling for stich, headypete and friends.

updated pics as promised. caling for stich, headypete and friends.

pics without the hps on, a day after the ph was corrected to 5.5 from 7.0
do you see any changes?
i await any help on this.. half way in flower...

p.s. just as a side issue: for using lucas formula in hydro (next set up ) i need only floranova bloom? no other extra micro something?
thanks for every input!

p.s.s
do they look well for 4th week in flower? it is an ultra haze #3. supose to go 8-9 weeks .

They look nute burned. It can show anywhere on the leaf. If what you're feeding doesn't have lots of N than I'd go with phosphorus deficiency. The fans down & mirrors wasn't helping. You really need proper bloom ferts with less N.

You most definatly have some nutrient burn going there... how it's only affecting the leaves tips and curling inwards is beyond me, what is your dosage you are using and how often?

How often are you watering and are you watering in between feedings? How close is your lighting?

hey all!

hey all!

probably..
how it's only affecting the leaves tips and curling inwards is beyond me,
and me... thats why i am calling you guys.
what is your dosage you are using and how often?
i am using 6-7 drops a liter of biological sea weed extract (9.3.7)
How often are you watering and are you watering in between feedings?
i water about every 2-3 days, as the pot is light as air, and i feed once then just water once.
How close is your lighting?
about 10/15 cm. but temps are very nice at canopy. no warmth..
so- what ya think?
m.
p.s. do they look well for 4th week in flower?
p.s.s. strongly of topic: for my next hydro. alll i need is floranova bloom at 5/8 ml/gal???

ok, i paniced so i flushed- P.h.ed and changed nutes.

ok, i paniced so i flushed- P.h.ed and changed nutes.

i saw that all was wrong:
p.h. was 7.0
nutes where rich in N but low in P.
etc.

so:
i flushed well,
balanced the last water to 6.0 with small anount of weak nutes .
now they are 8.14.9
so i guess it is better for flower.
look at her now:
ah and something else: i trimed the dead ends. they are not doing any good and just block the light so i cut them down , and it will also help me to see if the new soil is better aka no new burn...
what do ya think?

I think you've done the job. The ladies look happy now.

Hang a towel over the mirror. Cover the mirror, Now. The light escapes with your soul...never mind the hot spots. Your beige wall will be better than mirror. Tape white paper over them.

Ya, I agree looks like you got the problem all worked out. What nutrient brand was you using before this one?

Mirrors at best are only about 80% to 85% reflective also mirrors do not defuse light & that can cause hot spots. Plain white wall is actually more reflective than mirror.

well , i will trust you on this one!!

well , i will trust you on this one!!

hope you know the do...: )
anyhow, it will take a while to take them off as the lady is in there...
but it will be done!
thanks for the advice!
argh... after the work i out in to puting them (the mirors) there....
well
no error no ... (what ryphms whit error??)
have a great day my friends!
