Joey Weeds NL-99 Smoke Report

Hi all
This is my smoke report for Joey Weed's NL-99 (Northern Lights X Cinderella 99)

RATING: 9 out of 10

FLOWER TIME AND PLANT STRUCTURE: These were taken at 60 days. The buds are dense and get tighter as they dried, real nice little nugs. Grown using a 18 bucket Ebb and Grow System, PBP grow, PBP bloom, Liquid Kharma, Overdrive, and Liquid Budswell.

APPEARANCE: Great bag appeal, the nugs are almost orange from all the hairs

SMELL: When you open the jar, you get hit with a very fruity and sweet smell, very pleasant makes you wanna eat it

YEILD: Great yeilder, total of 13 OZ from 18 buckets, the plants only got to 18 to 22 inches tall, If I let them get a little bigger in veg, they will have a great yeild.

TASTE AND SMOKE: Sweet and fruity, very smooth, no harshness here, leaves that taste in your mouth that you wanna keep tasting again and again, good stone, not a knockout, more of a can get things done while stoned on it.

OVERALL: This gets a 9 out of 10. This has to be the easiest plant to clone and grow in my garden, was one of the first seeds I bought and still one of my garden favorites, Friends always asking me, "when will the Cindy be ready?"
So not only one of my favs but a real crowd pleaser. Thanks Joey :)

Awesome. I've grown some myself and was impressed with the plants. Mine werent quite so hairy though

Nicest smelling weed ever, and potent! The extremely low odor while growing was a god-send too.

nice pics and review! looks like some good gear, the cindy is really hard to go wrong with.

Ive grown a few joey weed hybrids out and they have all had people asking for more, especially the c99 crosses and the blue apollo, which was a real tasty treat!

get em where you can get em...cause joey weeds seeds are hot. Your buds look great, and the looks and descriptions remind me so much of the ak99 I grew from joey. I had only 4 seeds and all 4 grew up to be females...and all 4 were uniformly great. Little variation when growing and little variation in the end product. All were grade A.

Nice job...

The only place I can find that carries joey gear is hempdepot.

I know I got mine from sd/sb at some point a few years back, so at some point sd/sb carried joey. I'm not sure why they don't carry the brand. It's their business, not mine ;)

I don't believe joey has an online presence.

He did back a few years ago, at least an email addy. I can barely remember it, [email protected] if anyone else remembers....the rest. I know I did biz with him a few times over that addy and had seeds mailed via eurohemp.

good gear.

thanks for the report
I'm a big fan of joey's work, my favorite so far was his c99 f4 but i still have to try the nl99 and moonshadow.
how many gpw did you get with nl99?

Good shit man..the yield of NL with the taste and smell of Cindy looks like im gonna have to try some of Joey's seeds soon.. I wonder how it turns out in an organic soil setup :canabis:

Nice dense lil nugs u got there. How reliable is hempdepot anyways, I was bout to order sum ak99 from Joey weed thru that site. I noticed that alot of his strains are sold out on there which makes me think his strains are a hit and def worth growing , esp for 50 bux a pack !! I wish other breeders were more bout spreadin the love like Joey weed, seems like its all about money with $150 packs everywhere I look.

They are reliable :) No problems ever with them and there was very little variation, very uniform.

Looking good, I'm running some C99 from Topskud (danish breeder). They should flower in 50 days :D

How stable is this cross, or should I ask how much variation should I expect?

the nl x c99 has two major pheno types - the NL and the C99 types with the c99 being more common - at least 2 of 3 if not 3 of 4.

The cross is a true F1 and therefore the results and general phenotype expression is pretty consistent - we had a thread on C-W before it went down where people posted their results and the NL X c99 was very consistent across multiple grows and multiple mediums.

Most people tend to like the c99 phenos as they produce a racey type high that mellows into a nice body high.

Yield on this one is consistently better than straight c99 and probably towards the top end of yield of strains in general with similar flower times.

Low odor is also a very very consistent fact with this cross - barely can smell her in flower - buds gain their flavor over the first 2 weeks - month of jar curing and then it's candy (pretty similar to most c99 hybrids in my experience).

Gotta love joey as he's still popping out the F2's of the bros grim stuff like the c99 and a11 - from original grim parent stock...

I hear the c99 x a11 is also very very nice :D

here's some shots of my NL 99 - it is the bomb in the vaporizer btw
