2x Purple Haze, 2x White Widow, Durban Poison

The plants have been flowering for 21 days now, and I am really satisfied to the results so far. 12/12 started 3.1.2008, first flowers were seen 20.1.2008.

Flushing helped a lot, yellowing has decreased a lot. And today I'll give some Magnesium to them, so I think everything is cool again.

Anyway here is pictures of them, and yes I'll keep you up to date!



Buds are starting to expand / swell. If the buds expand all the way, there will be nice big and long bud sticks!

Yea, they don't, I said it @ beginning that they do not look like haze at all but I bet they are strong. They look like afghan. Sensi Seeds purple haze is Original Haze/Afghan. So I think mine is more Indica based. But anyway they look good and that's what I want.

Btw, where did you get yours from.

I got mine from a guy in australia, who I knew through overgrow, his was purple haze x afghani also, but the cross was done in the 80's, and it had been subsequently inbred with the most sativa of the offspring.

AFAIK, the seeds were actually true purple haze. From before the guys that made it got robbed.

Hey guys,

Now I seriously need your help. The burning from magnesium deficiency is starting to spread. I gave nice amount of magnesium last Sunday. But it seems it didn't help, the flushing tho helped. Anyway the plants look nice, that's not my point, but they don't look perfect, so help me here guys!

I'm wondering to give full dose of grow tomorrow, like 3-4ml / L. Should I? Or do you have other ways. All comments are welcome!

Purple Haze, you can see that the burning is there still and it is spreading to other leaves as well. It was only the one bud with it but now it's almost all (purple haze bud leaves, that is).


Durban Poison's leaves start to dry up, dunno is this from the magnesium or just lack of water. I think the water, this was kinda off topic.

sorry to hear about your problems bro. hmm in the durban poison i can see some burned leaftips which would indicate to over feeding.. not sure though so don't count on it, also you said that the flushing helped so that would also point in that direction.

have you checked ph btw?

maybe you should post some pics in the infirmary section to get some pro help.

Stink is really flowery, like fruity flower smell, but at the same time really sharp and citrus flawored smell. Really sweet sugarry smell. First you smell the citrus, it's rly sharp and it hits you hard and then it starts to combine fruity summer flower smell which reminds you of your moms gardens full of roses etc. But you can't rly give only one word for this smell, it's really unique, never smelled anything like this. Really sweeet & nice smell. And really sticky icky!

Hehe, yea well dunno after couple weeks. At this moment the filter does the job but at the end of flowering at nights when its off, it could smell kinda good.

Hehe ak-47 is *Seriously* a nice choice, one of my favourites. My purple haze is from Sensi Seeds feminized ones. Basically there is no such thing as "purple haze" it's just phenotype of Original Haze. Dunno when Sensi Seed breeded purple haze first time (since there has been purple haze in seeds going around before sensi released it) which is same cross that sensi sells nowdays. So basically the purple haze in seeds what we know, is Original Haze crossed with Afghan.
From this purple haze I can say that you definitely can see that this is 100% sativa & 100% indica cross. The plant grows really indica style, until you go flowering and it stretches like haze in old times. And the smell of this is kinda big mess / mix of haze and afghan. It stinks and it's really sharp, like afghan, but it's really sweet, fruity and lemony like haze is.

I have once tried this, atm it's kinda indica based but I bet when this shit is ready the haze starts to kick in!

Now there is a hard question. Well, kinda anise smell, dunno It's really unique smell. Also brings some flower to my mind, can't remember what. Also little bit lemony smell, not much but little. Also little bit spicy smell. Purple Hazes smell was quite bit hard to describe but I managed it, this is really hard. Never smelled anything like this. Usually bud smells like citrus, THC & urea, but my Durban isn't even close to these normal smells, except little bit citrus. Btw, the Durban is starting to swell like a mofo.
