Droopy Swingers........(actually droopy Leaves)

Problem: Droopy Leaves

Basically I had them a little rootbound for a few days in a plastic cup (straight from seedling) and I repotted them into 3 gallon pots and they started perking up. Also I used B vitamin when transplanting.

2 different strains

1- Gods Treat (Dutch Treat x BC God)
Looking much worse
2- Haxe/Skunk x Genius
Looks OK
Ive figured out so far;

a- Gods treat doesnt like alot of ferts - 500-800 is plenty.(even mid flower - from a previous grow)
b- The Haze cross seems to like a bit more ferts

I think overwatering and the rootbound situation played factors in this.

My current ferts/mix etc

Soil: Burnones awesome organic soil mix
Ferts: Botanicare Line (only have used 1 micro dose on them)
Lighting: 600watt hps (2.5 foot light height of canopy - I tried lower but plants did not like)
Temps: Night: 70 Day: 78-84 (on canopy)
Air: Vortex 6" in a 8'x4'x10' bathroom & large oscillator on canopy
Humidity: 30%
Stage: Veg - 2 weeks under hps now
Water: City - Ph7 - I Re-PH to 6.0 (soilless mix)

Heres the pics

looks like underwatering to me.
im suprised how lush they are for being dry.

being rootbound helped out like you said, next time try unwinding some of there roots when u transplant, trying not to break any.

they still looks underrwatered to me. give them a foliar with the b vitamin, that will help.

Did you water them good when you transplanted? I agree with digi boy. (no offence DH) You know, DH, I think that is the first time I have seen the advice on untangling root bound plants on here. I like it and agree. I used to do that when I bought veggie plants from the nurseries. It just makes sense. kronique, give that plant some water and a foliar feed. Don't forget the underneath of the leaves.

They have been droopy since I transplanted. And I watered the soil til 10% runoff when transplanting.

Ive always known to water once its almost bone dry.
They weigh about 3-4 lbs right now.
You guys think its time to water??
Ive always heard that most people Overwater.

What I was thinking, wait a day or 2 more til their good and dry
Then hit them with a good cleanwater rinse and a dash of molasses.

I think the haze is recovering and the gods treat is shocked from the overferting (I ferted when transplanting) mostly looks like too much nitrogen (super dark leaves) Just a guess tho....

Are the pots light? Don't water till the pots are light when you pick them up. Get to know the weight when fully watered and when almost dry.

I like to gently rip the bottom of the root ball open when I transplant. Stimulates the roots to grow out in many new directions.

Careful with fetburn, they may be a little overfed there. Water with plain water. ph adjusted next time.

Nice Tannoys.

Turns out they were dry

BUT

the pots were still heavy because the roots werent deep enough to suck from the bottom.

Learnt another trick!!!! :rasta:

:yes::yes:

Those cheap moisture probes for soil work well and are worth using, especially if you get into pots that are too big too lift easily.
