I'm desperatly searching for a seed or clone source for this strain. Anyone know where I might find some before April? Seedbay and Seed Botique seeem to be temporarily out of stock, any ideas if they will restock? I got some and ended up loosing them somewhere.

Are you waiting for African Seeds to restock? If so, I have heard that all those seeds are gone for good. But Afropips has a Swazi Red @ seedboutique.

Ya, that's what I thought but if you click "buy it now" they're actually out of stock. They just haven't removed the actual listing I guess. What a dirty trick...
Suggestions anyone?

Might be worth speaking to the Afropips stockists around to see if there are any packs out there on the shelves.

I have been looking for "my old" Swazi but had not rushed out and bought the Afropips strain as it sounded so clearly different, even down to the red hairs. I will console myself with Bambata, a Namibian based strain from Tiki seeds that looks and sounds a lot more like my long lost Swazi.

Hahaha, Bambata is the other strain I'm gonna do this year. Great minds think alike. How's the Bambata smoke/grow???

It may be a race to snatch up the Bambata seeds, too. I'll probly be buying mine in the next few weeks as well. I really hope there's enough for everyone. There's nothing worse than eyeballing sedds for weeks, saving up cash, and finding out they're all gone. :puppydoge

This may sound odd or surprising, but Nirvana's Swazi was very good to me. One of the few Nirvana selections that didn't go herm either.

oh heres the description from SB.. just in case its not out there..
Swazi 'Rooi bart' - Outdoor / Indoor 100% Cannabis Sativa, producing characteristic tall slender plants. Female heads have characteristic red hairs - 'rooi bart' or red beard. 50 - 60 days maturation outdoors, 90 days indoors. High yields, big buds loaded with THC. Acknowledged as some of the finest from Southern Africa.

Give us a grow update if you track some down. Good to see more people growing Africans, better yet something outside the Durban or Malawi lines.

Right on ya'll... viva Africa sativa!!!
I did a single Spring ECSD last year and it was the frostiest trim I've ever gotten off a single plant. The bud was great too. She's definately going outside this year. Very diffrent from what it did inside, not any better or worse, just grew diffrent.

I got a pack of African seeds Rooibart awhile back..

I did start 4 beans with one survivor! This was awaited because of the older stock, but I also had wrong germing technique at the moment..

That one has since revealed to be female and I have cloned & trained her already  If you wait some months I can give honest smokereport of her...

Here´s couple old pics if you are interested:

EDIT: And btw.. Nirvana´s Swazi should give very Swazi alike plants with personal high & nice yield also

The more 50/50 of whatever they crossed it with

...rubber skunk on the sat, sprite-pine on the 50/50

The post above looks alot like the old African Seeds photos.

Wow, those plants are wild looking. The stems have a great red contrast. I have an old pack of Rooibart and your photos make me want to sprout them. I hope they are still good.
