i have a box thats roughly 16" deep 37" tall and about 24" wide about how much wattage would be sufficient for a few plant like 2 or 3

150W will give you 57 watts per square foot. 50 is an average desired PSF wattage so you will be in good shape. Grow a sog garden, keep plants short due to the inefficient light penetration by a 150 into the canopy.

Use the short 1 gallon pots and you can probably get 6-8 girls in there. They will fill in nicely. The yield and quality is up to you and your growing skills.

Drop down one forum to "Micro Grows" and there you will find some real micro-maniacs that will be of help in your quest.

Have fun,

Try it out first, monitor the temps every few hours to get a feel for it. Do this before the plants are put in the cabinet, no use screwing them up if things aren't where they need to be. If you need more warmth, wrap some R-19 insulation around the sides of the cabinet. Come summer your will have to face it on your own at this point because we have no idea what region you live in and its average temperatures, obviously you would remove the insulation as the spring/summer temps climb.
