I'm so sorry to hear of your loss BBB, I know the feeling all too well bro, as a dog lover/pet owner I've suffered these losses over the years. You did everything you could to bring her comfort and joy brother, her pains are now healed and she would never want you to suffer the way you are right now. What she's left behind lives on in your heart and Rambo's too. It's too easy for us to find blame or fault in ourselves at this time wondering if we did the right thing, don't lay any guilt on yourself. I'll leave you with this website to go to when you're really feeling down....... www.petloss.com
I wish I had the right words to offer.
Thank you. I felt better last night, Not as upset, just more of sick empty feeling in my gut. I slept as much as possible today to put off waking up to her not being next to be my bed.. Sadly I can't sleep forever, so it has been a pretty upseting day for me sinice I woke up.. With her lack of life apparent.. and her grave in my yard obvious..

My Condolences BBB. I know it is hard to lose a close friend/pet. I had my first dog die in my arms after being hit by car. Took me a long time to get over that one.
yeah as traumatic as it was to feel her life slip away in my arms as she was put to sleep. I was happy I could be there during it. I was happy she was now at home, and she slept through the whole thing. I don't think she would have been able to at the vet.. Being at home with me brought her nerves down.. and that is all i wanted..

BBB, I'm really sorry about your loss. I can grasp exactly what you're going through right now. Last Friday my dog died and I still get that sick & empty feeling in my stomach when I think about her, too. Stay well.

My heart goes out to u

I have also been a dog lover for life, and nothing will replace her or take her place she will be in ur heart for ever. I had a black lab stolen from my front yard he would never wonder off and some #$%##%%# took him and it still hurts 5 yrs has past and can only look at pics and say that was a good friend. I have a yellow now and twins that r the same age.Dogs are like children that never grow up.I am getting emotional and rambling. So u get the point bbb no one or anything can replace her.But she will always be in ur heart. :puppydoge

thank you for your support

It is going to be long and hard to adjust to not hearing her alert me when someone is in the front of my house. It is so quiet here now with a hard empty feeling. I'm so used to coming in, and having her all happy and wanting of my affection when i walked in the door. Now I come home to nothing all of a sudden after 12 years.

I concur... Have a dog stolen is worse then death. Not knowing where the dog is, how she is being taken care of, being abused, etc..

I couldn't deal with it. :badday:

I now have her 1 1/2 month old $600 wheel chair covered up until i find a place to keep it out of my sight, I can't help but stare at it.. wondering what could have been had this infection been fought off before it spread to her kidneys..

I was thinking about donating it.. or keeping it encase Rambo every needs it..
But it was custom built for Chyna's size..

thankfully my first dog is still alive at 13 years old but its painful to think that someday he will be gone, i think i will be very lonely that day. but im sorry for your loss and i hope you feel better soon.

what type of dog?

Any other owner would have put my dog down when she started to lose the use of her rear legs. I busted my back for a long time helping her walk every day holding up her rear. I was so happy as was she with the wheelchair. We could now walk as long as we used to, not as long as i could until my back hurt.

hahahahahaha......Im so sorry I cant stop laughing, sorry about your dog bro....lololollll.....it's just the wheelchair.....sorry, i really dont mean it.........vvvvrrroooommmmmm hahahahahaha....I never seen that shit....reminds me of the millionaires wives who walk by my brothers job with there little foofy dogs in gucci strollers, yes strollers...like a baby.....hahahahahaha......Im sorry bro....so sorry....for real..

Hey man, my deepest condolences, I think we love our dogs so much more than most people, because they always are there for us and love us unconditionally, things that most humans can't even fathom...

You've never seen dogs in wheelchairs? what an asshole, you'll remember this thread when someone you care about dies, scumbag....
What a Jackass. Unfortunately this sort of remark would have not surfaced a few years ago. This website has really turned into a fucking highschool.
Sorry for the idiot's remark. That is an awesome wheelchair, did you buy it from a specialty store?
