Wow! I hadn't seen this type of device before, but I love it. Very intriguing, good luck on the grow :)

looks like they could have done with more veg time, and had all the rails fitted (it looks like you only using every other rail yes??)
now if this were me and i had access to enough rooted cuts id chalk this down to eperience., pull them ,a nd start over, because it doesnt look like you are going to get much yield at all, and the electricity is going to cost the same whatever.....
not saying thats what you should do though. Ive developed an interest in these recently since the ive seen the volksgarden(plastic version) selling for about 800 pounds on fleabay.....
Have you had any problems with nutrient dripping from the cubes when theyre upside down...i remember someone who had a couple of these had that issue..dripping on his plants from the plants above....
what wattage are you running?

Looks great so far, did ya take out some rows from the wheel?? It looks a litte sparse compared to the other units ive seen. Just a heads up, you gotta be careful in flowering, if your water level is to high it will cause dripping from the cubes and leads to bud mold.

I say you build one ;)

At least that's what I thought about the instant I saw this. Out of curiosity, why do you say he should tear down and start over with more veg time. Forgive me, I'm still a newbie, so I'm just asking so I can learn a bit :)

If he's 26 days into flower already, shouldn't he run it for at least another month or two, have them stretch a bit more, and get SOME kind of a yield. Isn't that better than starting over, giving them a month or two of veg then 2-3 more months of flower? Again, just wondering, not saying that you're wrong or anything.

To the OP: How many total plants do these units hold?

NOt sure is its an omega or a b-pod bought it used at an auction.

The reason I'm only running half the trays it because i wanted to compare it to a 4X8 table that i usually use and put 84 plants. Wanted to see the difference befor i filled it right up !

I dont veg. never have , never will......i keep a good healthy stock of moms and takes babies of when needed. I run rooted clone straight into 12/12. Pick 55 days later . On a 4x8 flow table and 2 1000 watts i would normally get 3 -3 and a half pounds. Which in my eyes is pretty good.

The plants are now at the half way mark, and doing well strong and healthy ! NO problems yet with dripping. Temp. of the room is controled and set at 72 degrees. Lots of funs and a watchful eye. Been growing the same strain for quite awhile. The strain is BC big BUd.

Sure looks like a b pod,I have an omega and that looks nothing like mine.
Is it a 600w or 1000.
Im interested to see how that strain works out. These wheels seem to be very strain sensitive. Some wont work at all.
The jamacian strain seem to like the spin
Im looking for a new one to try so please keep posting

At the bottom is a tray with water/nutes in it. As the plants rotate they get dipped in the tray. I think the usual cycle is for the tray to fill up for an hour every day to match the rotation cycle. All the plants get fed once a day. There is talk about the rockwool being wet, then dripping when upside down onto the buds below and causing mold

i wanted to buy one of those a while back but i just couldnt spend 4k on one haha. i ended up with an ebb and gro, not near as cool looking as that but i love it so far.

I know a guy who says he can get 5 lbs with the large model. I've never been able to talk myself into trying them out but i will one day for sure. Watch for the dripping when upside down though. One guy on here awhile ago had a successful run with a few omegas but he lost alot of bud because of mold... keep your RH super low! Good Luck

You need good air movement blowing through the center and 5lbs from a 1000w is ok.You can ,if all is done right, get 5lbs from the 600w machine but 3 to 4 is more like it
