Super Hydro grow from scratch. *Help Needed*

glad you guys stopped by. I'm a little scared haha. Everyones been telling me this is pretty serious for a first shot at a grow. I am learning everything as I go along and this first grow is a learning experience in general. Hopefully with your guys help on Icmag.com it will be a great success. Keep watching, I will most likely update with pics and thoughts daily. Also sometimes questions may arise. I will post them in this thread.

Cheers and happy growing.

If you are not overwhelmed, than it is not overwhelming lol. Just keep doing what you are doing, and you should be fine. If you aren't in a stand alone building, however, get real serious about odor control. All of those will be OVERPOWERING @ 6+ wks of flower. As of right now, I am in an apt with neighbors above and below me, and I am going nuts worrying. In the last setup, it was possible for me to run a box fan out of a window on the opposite side of my apt, and pull the vaportek/weed/ONA smells out the window about 20' off the ground. Not in winter........Did I mention that I am moving lol Slow and steady wins the race!

I'm in a stand alone house on a corner, with about 100' from each neighbor. So odor isn't too much of a worry.

Also this is my new hobby, I am looking forward to taking care of and babying my ladies. I am willing to put in all the time and effort to get this done right at first. I am not stubborn and will definitely take any advice given to me here or elsewhere seriously.

Thank you for taking interest Bar =)

Just don't do anything radical if something falls out of whack. The first instinct is usually to add more nutes, when leaves turn color or spotted. Bad! Keep us posted with all the details. And I mean ALL of the details. I take it these seedlings are to keep you busy while your clones are rooting? Or are you growing these out to find a keeper?

Welcome to my grow Monk, the seedlings are serving a dual purpose, keeping me busy, teaching me how to build a green thumb. Also having a few haze and white widow mthers for future grows would be great =)

Thank you for the links, I spend hours a day here while im not tending to my babies trying to soak up as much info as possible for when the proper time comes to act in each step of the grow.

Cheers! happy growing =)

Nice grow mate. Sounds like you have a few good strains there... I'll keep an eye on this one bro, promises to turn out well.

Heya Monk, this is my first time growing indoors period and my first serious grow.

Thats just my type of thinking. Go big or go home !!!

As said, I would try to run one strain in the whole system. Different strains usually require different nutes. But i have been successful at running 3 strains in one table. I must have lucked out. Also start the nute doses and bump up every few days, when you start to see problems, you know you went to far.

Also dont fool with a ton of additives to start with. Just use your nutes, get it dialed in, then after a harvest or two, try some additives.

Super Excited, picked up a pound of Jack Herrer last night and found 2 seeds in it. Gonna sprout them and hopefully get some females =P

Hehe i am the same way with wieght now. Whenever i get an elbow i will always take a quick glance through it for beans. There will almost always be at least one in a pound.
