Best Nutes for Recirc DWC

Does anyone know the best nutrients for a Recirculating DWC Big toke uses GH 3 part but I was wondering what other people had to say.


Also what additives should I use, I've heard hydroguard is good any other additives anyone's used? thanks in advance

It's all about what you are use to using. If you follow BigTokes way, you can't go wrong. I like ph stabilized nutes myself such as Floranova. Made by GH as well. But it makes your roots a little brown.

I used GH 2 part micro/bloom on my 1st grow (lucas formula) and switched to GH 1 part floranova bloom (lucas formula) my 2nd and had good results with both. You want to keep your ph levels @ 5.8-6.0 most of the time to keep from having magnesium lockout.

I run 4 x 5 gal dwc's recirculating through a 14 gal rubbermaid reservoir. it works great.

the roots are a little darker using the floranova bloom nutes but still healthy.

I've heard of the lucas formula but never heard from actual people using it. Doesn't the GH Micro not have high enough nitrogen levels for maximum foliage and chlorophyll production? And because vegetative sets the stage for flowering growth wouldnt it stunt the plants growth? I have no experience with this so please correct me if I'm wrong that's just what I've read in the bible.

it has plenty of nitrogen as long as you use it full strength from the start. full strength under fluoro lighting is 5ml micro / 10ml of bloom per gallon.

full strength under hid lighting is 8ml micro / 16ml of bloom per gallon.

micro goes in 1st and wait at least 5 minutes before adding the bloom.
