ohh i get high with a little help from my friends (what an earworm)

hi

my leaves are curling and i dont know what it is ..i dont water them too much ...they dont have to much heat ...

What substrate/medium are you using? What brand of soil mixture are you using?(percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?) compo sana with ca 75 percent perlite

What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"?started with 6.5 ...dont use ph ,ec

What size bulb are you using? 250 watt
What is the distance to the canopy?30 cm
What is your RH Factor? (Relative Humidity) ca 58

Is your water HARD or SOFT? hard

hi grownow,

75% perlite means you have to lower Ph to ~6 for optimum uptake.
Your hard water makes things even more difficult for lowering your PH.
I would go with 40-50% perlite next time.

Your new problem is caused by PH being off OR by low levels of
P / K / Microelements.
Get a PH meter soon, cause flowering is a different ball game.

Your lights could also be closer than 30cm, but i guess your temps would get too high. It would help though.

Good luck

p.s. Like MyNameStich said, i would not flush. Just give em a small dose of PK and microelements. Increase as needed

Now you see why I said it was not over ferting, because if it was too much nitrogen, why is it showing a nitrogen deficiency weather it's from locked out or not enough....... in just a few days time......

It takes a weeks time for a plant like his to recover from nitrogen toxcity, though all recover at different times depending on condition and what mediums you use.
Soiless and hydro ones recover faster than soil ones do.
So I would wait til you get your new meter to do anything to ensure it's not pH that is causing the problem.

stitch, it looked very clear to me that his plants had alot of nitrogen, because the leaves were dark dark green, then curling, then burning. but yes there may be another problem as whilst leaves will go yellow and die even when the plant is perfectly healthy, there are some strange spots on the yellowing leaves, which shouldnt be there.

if ph isnt being adjusted then even with ferts in the water, ph is still going to be too high and probably around ph7.5. it should ideally be around ph6-6.5 :)

It's not excess nitrogen thats for sure, cause his lower leaves are yellowing and it's the same color of nitrogen deficiency, but yes I agree with you does not matter if it's pH or ferts if pH is off then there will be a problem with nutrients being uptaked.

not now its not, but it has since passed... :joint:

ph is 5.5 !!! i think this is the problem ....??!?! with a low ph the plant cant get the right nutes!

should i make him 6 or 6.5?

i didnt expect it to be 5.5! how did you measure the ph? ran tap water through it and measured the run off??
reason i ask is that if your running ph7-8 tap water through it and its coming out at 5.5, your soil must be quite acidic to make it drop so much.

so yes ph wants increasing, anything between 6 and 6.5 is fine, you dont have to be on 6 or 6.5 exactly.

Haia, if I were you I tried to obtain pure water such as rain or distilled water or at least boil your tap water for some time until white rock clings to the cauldron walls. Then mix 3/4 of this stuff with 1/4 of fresh tap water, add a bit (1/10 of recommended dosage at recommended times) of high-N NPK fertilizer and see!

With 3/4 perlite you are growing basically hydroponically. Although some people have sucessfully done so using very hard water also containing stone salt and sulphate it is a profession, not a hobby.

compo sana

Is this soiless mixture or soil mixture?

I could not remember if you said that or not yet.

depending on if his mixture is soiless or soil. If his mixture is soiless then his pH is fine.
If not then his pH is off.

it is apparently 25% compost and 75% perlite (god knows why you need that much perlite!!). imo that should have bin 75% compost and 25% perlite.
he hasnt got enough soil to hold the nutrients and has gone from overfed to underfed lol.

possibly best solution is to continue feeding once a week at 1.5ml instead of 3ml and plain water at other times, both must be ph adjusted. and see how it reacts.

is the plant looking any better or worse? lets see more pictures since its 5 days after the last were taken.

What is in the compost though? Depends, still can't consider it soil unless there is soil more soil components in the compost, there could be more peat moss in there or other stuff.......

hi ic warriors ;)

i put the ph up to 6.4 and i think the plant is doing better.leaves looks better than before and it starts to haze.normal budproduction now.

here is the discription from the soil (composana) its in german but i think you understand the most of the fellow text :

Ausgangsstoffe: Hochmoor-Torf (Zersetzungsgrad: H2 - H7), Perlite, NPK-Dünger,
Phosphat mit Silicium (AGROSIL®), kohlensaurer Kalk.
pH-Wert (CaCl2): 5,7
Salzgehalt (KCl) in g/l: 1,8
Verfügbare (lösliche) Nährstoffe:
300 mg/l N Stickstoff (CaCl2)
360 mg/l P2O5 Phosphat (CAL)
420 mg/l K2O Kaliumoxid (CAL)
Organische Substanz (bewertet als Glühverlust): 85%
Anwendungshinweis: Gebrauchsfertiges Kultursubstrat zum Ein-und Umtopfen
aller Zimmer- und Balkonpflanzen, ausgenommen Moorbeetpflanzen und Orchideen.
Lagerung kühl und trocken. Angebrochene Beutel dicht verschließen.

erm, dude they have gone very yellow now. they need a dose of something high in nitrogen. got anything around 12-4-4 ?

how many days left untill they are finished?

i guess now u can see, with so little soil, its hard to keep the ferts balanced throughout the grow.

Oh shit, that is always bad to hear anyone getting busted. Are you sure this is how you got busted? Did you tell anyone you were growing?

no inever told it a freind ..a smoking friend is the enemy of your plant!;)

we had a big growshop in aachen (near maastrciht ).the owner of this shop made alot of big business up to 300 kg with the best shit .around from aachen were fournd a lot of big plantages and now our goverment decided to bust all the ppeople which ordered stuff ( imean grow stuff -no weed or hasj....just equipment .its called :OPERATION SATIVA

and yesterday in the morning(6am) 5 criminal officers came into my house and took all th egood stuff. i have to say i dont hate police officers they are just doing their job ...

these officers wer e nice people ..i still have all my equipment ,my seeds (about 300 pieces ) my digital scale ..100 germinating seeds and 30 plants in jify which were 3 days old .(with the first real leaves)3,my dvd porn rips ...my cinama rips etc

i think they were nice guys ...or they are just so unteached to see what plants are in earlier days or what seeds are...
