Philosophical dilemma of the year...

I was just thinking about this today

I was in a large popular book store the other day and there are 10000 of books on sale, i look thro some of them and some of them are crap right... so im thinking in the whole of the book store there gotta be a book or two that i really like. Imagine having read entire bookstoore - every book in the store, u were asked whats the best title for me to read - THEN u could esily say something like "OHH thats 1 there is the best book i came acros , i really enjoyed it"

But, thats to say u have read entire book store, now u know which is the best book for u u most enjoy right?

My question is HOW , ohhhh HOW do u find this book you would most enjoy without having to read entire book store (or gooing sifting through all book titles and back of the books)????

Imagine u could find that 1 book u would most enjoy simply and easily ... somehow...

Know what im saying?

Books are hard.

Look at something even tougher: MY SPACE. There are 1000s of (if not millions) of girls out there, and lets just say there are few girls on my space that if FOUND u could be very VERY happy with them.

HOW DO U FIND THAT 1 GIRL WITHOUT CONTACTING THOSUNADS AND THOUSNADS OF others random goofs first??

This what beats me today.

I need that magic wand in opera browser to find the right woman for me...

Book reviews, reccomendations by friends, etc.

A lot of books are by the same author also, and people tend to like books written by the same author, so the matter becomes finding your favourite author(s), not book(s).. a much smaller selection pool. Also having specific genre interests etc do the same.

And I'm sure many people never come across thier would-be 'favourite book'.

As for the girls... most human beings are simple, categorizable, and fit into one of few very standard molds... think of them as human personality phenotypes if you will. I'd say there are maybe 10 different personality phenotypes in North American culture. All people end up doing is finding someone that matches thier type and they're happy. There's no such thing as "the one"... more like "the 10th of the population".

hi REd, ever read this before bro?
4. Flaming/Trolling: Flames are posts intended to insult and provoke. Posters who speak incessantly and/or rabidly on some relatively uninteresting subject or with a patently ridiculous attitude will be banned. Repeated posts directed with hostility at a particular person or group of people or their beliefs will be cause for banning. Any individual who chronically trolls, who regularly posts arguments, flames or personal attacks for no other purpose than to annoy someone or disrupt a discussion will be banned. Trolls are recognizable by the fact that they have no real interest in learning about the topic at hand - they simply want to utter flame bait.

I just decide what subject/genre of book I want, then have a look on Amazon or Google. If it's for information, there's usually some kind of industry standard that everyone buys for that particular subject, which is usually a good place to start. With fiction though, I just check out reviews and stuff first. I've never really read a bad book from doing things this way.

With the Myspace girls, I can't help you.

im starting to think "specialk" means special kid cause everything you say is straight retarded. there is no way to tell what books you will completely enjoy other than to make a guess based on what you can tell about the book before you read it or listenign to other people's opinions about said book. as far as being the phisosophical dillema of the year...maybe the dumbest question of the year. and as far as telling which 12 yearold on myspace will let you touch her without telling her mom, i cant help ya there, just hope that you end up on "how to catch a predator". why would you even try "meeting" girls on myspace anyways? what the fucks wrong with you? go meet REAL girls in REAL places, aka not behind a computer screen d00d
