Resin from a pipe any use?

I was thinking if i collected lets say an ounce of resin from my smoking utensils is there any way to make some type of oil out of it? I am not hurting for smoke or anything cause i personally hate smoking plain old resin but i think i would toke up some oil made out of it. Any thoughts or ideas guys? If there is a thread on this already please direct me there. Thanks in advance

I think it's a lost cause. There's very little THC left in the residue.

I don't think it would be easily extracted. There's THC, but it's also tar and lighter butane and ash. I don't know what alcohol would dissolve.

But really, it's better to keep a clean pipe at all times and preserve the flavour of the bud rather than let the resin accumulate. That resin/tar stuff ruins the taste of tasty tasty weed.

OH believe me my pieces are spotless. I was just being stoned and thinking of something to do. I think i will still give some kind of extraction a try for shits and giggles sake. I will post the results.

Last time I pulled any resin out of anything it was pretty oily from the start. No reason to apply any extraction methods to it. Nothing like smoking resin lets you know you need to grow more weed.

i used to do this when i was younger...every time i cleaned ,y pipe/bong the stuff went on a folded bit of foil to save for a rainy day, and when that day came id just be warming kinfe, dabbing it on and wiping it on rizlas and smoking it-getting a headache. no positive canna effects from smoking pipe tar. It might make you feel better because of the ritual and maybe the smell taste(wh9ch is different anyway) but it doesnt get you stoned...../not properly..not even like wea shit weed or hash..... just a headache. the THC in it must be miniscule..... anyway that stuff ios full oif nasties-your pipe is designed to stop that shit going in ur lungs.
Rather than relying on this nasty tar to get you through tight times youd be better off breaking off a tiny bit of every bit of weed/hash you buy/grow and putting it all in a jar together for emergency use... Like if you get an eighth, chuck 0.3 in ur emergency pot and put the pot back in is stash...make the stash something thats an effort for you to get to, then you will be less tempted break into it for a joint if its just a case of the dealers half an hour late and ur paper are already stuck together lol.... If you grow a crop of 9 ounces ...bury a quarter(packaged to be safe and dry of course)
It will do you a lot better than headache-making pipe tar.

I used to smoke the resin when I ran out of weed.
Probably did more damage than good.
A guy i used to know named Jaime (pronounced hymie), called it Jaime Hash, cause it's all he seemed to smoke.
