hello to everyone on IC, i'd like to first say thank you for your time and welcome you all into a new 08 =) best of wishes to you all!!!! Ive been a long time soil grower and loved the results but decided to switch over to coco seeing how it seems like loads of fun, i paid a visit to my local hydro store and baught the Canna coco a+b line along with ther rhizo,cannazyme, & Pk. im a virgin to coco so any help and guidence is much appreciated!!! I'll be growing in straight canna coco hand watering everyday so i can get to know my plants and ther reactions.
This time around i got 2 cali kush seeds, 2 sensi stars, 1 banana, 1 blue moonshine and 1 super skunk all of which will be vegged under a 400 and then flowered under a 600, luckly i got a buddy that was cool enough to let me use both his closets lol.. So lets get this show on the road!!!!!!!!

That being the case what product can i use inconjunction with the canna line to enhance flavor? I was thinking about using the PBP sweet, would this work with cannas pk in flower?? I know canna has bioboost but the local stores dont carry it..any and all help is needed and very much appreciated!

I have smoked buds that were grown with canna, and flushed so the nutrients are gone and there's no chemical taste. The buds will have a taste of there own, maybe not as sweet I guess because there's no sugar additive on their line huh? I remember the canna buds being some of the best looking buds I have ever seen, but they guy who grew it didn't dry it properly so I wasn't impressed with the smoke.

I am using the house and garden nutrient line, I was told that the guy who made canna made house and garden after he made canna so it supposedly works better....(just what I was told by the hydro store people)

Anyway I think from using Fox farms switching to H&G I notice the difference completely and won't go back to FF. But Instead of using their top booster that is a sugar booster for the tops, I use Botanicares sweet and it works bomb. If you can't get a hold of it then look into some molasses threads on this site, there are plenty that can teach you how to use it. I think it's actually simple like one Tbs. per gallon with regular black strap molasses. I haven't used the molasses myself, but it's supposed to work wonders in more ways then just the sugar. When you look into it you'll see what I mean.

Watering once a day is supposed to increase yields up to 6-10% said canna I have been watering daily and my plants love it. I got visible frost on plants in under two weeks. Keep it green man! PEACE

i use the canna products and love the results but i also use the canna boost and i think it really helps during flowering - also use the pk with caution i always get sum burn when i use it, im gonna try cutting out the b when i add the pk, ive seen a few threads where this helps reduce the over nute

cali! thanks for your input bro! i went out today and got a bottle of sweet along with some other goodies like rapid rooters and botanicares new cloning gel! anyhoot!

on a more exciting note i went out 2 oakland today and payed a visit to sr71 where i purchased a purple Kush Mother and white widow cutts, i've decided to keep my seeds for a rainy day especialy since i got a pk mother now.. my coco journeys just begining!!


ANY Tips on maintaining my PK mother? they feed her 700ppm's of sensi grow, should i just pick up with the canna where the sensi left of? @ 700 ppms of A+b canna?

Cali Thanks bro! I finally took some time offf of work to get that momma, drove all the way down to oakland which is about an hours drive from me, I almost didnt buy one because they were all so large in size! luckly they have one PK mom that wasn't so tall...I deff lucked out, i almost went home empty handed!

Cali-yes i believe its a "cali kush special blend " gifted to me by a local grower! The mother i purchased was given to me at a discounted price of 70 bucks they usually go for about 80, they come in different sizes ranging from 3 to 5 ft tall! the guy at the club told me it turns mad purple towards the end of flower, dominantly purple budds at the 60 day mark especialy under cold conditions.

Yea dude I have seen the purple kush all over this site. It is seriously dank. Check it out this was someone else's grow I followed the whole time, they were in coco and had purple kush. They said it was sr71 at first, but later found out it was and towards the end you can see how dank the PK really gets! Your gonna love her!!
