inside of a jar covered in trichomes, what would a wise stoner do?

the title says it all.

i have an empty jar which was full of bud. now i was wondering if i could use those trichomes somehow that are covering the inside walls of the jar?

i actually DO vaguely remember reading about it here at icmag but i did a search and nothing came up so i hope someone can share a few ideas.

you could add rubbing alcohol to the jar and shake for a little bit then let evaporate and collect the trichs

well you could do a few things, one rinse with some iso and dry it out see what ya get.

put the jar in the freezer for a while, then scrape the trichs off with a big metal spoon, then either press or smoke...

I've done this with iso before. All the better if you have a few jars like that, use the same alcohol for all the jars, put it in a shallow container (I've used a shotglass) and let'er sit until she's good and dry.

You could put some Bicardi 151 rum in there, 4 shots or so, thoroughly slosh it around until the trichs melt down, pour in a big drinking glass------add ice and Coke, now that is a Cuba Libre with authority.

Now that you have the jar brushed down the trichs are stuck on the brush, now what do you do? Ever see a cat step on a sticky board? Hilarious! The cat gets it off one foot by stepping on the trap with another foot and now its stuck on the other foot, and the circle continues. I don't know which is funnier, watching the cat, or reading the answers to this post.

i'd leave it. next time you fill the jar, it wont rob trichs from buds again cuz it's already covered...unless you are out of bud and jonesing. my jars are all "pre-coated".

haha im just kidding but I have used a playing card on my wider jars before and then scraped them on a bluntwrap lol

In the same spirit as Ty-Stik's idea, try this for your next stash: Instead of using a standard jar, get a hold of a quality glass blender and use that. When your stash is smoked and the blender is nicely coated with trichs add the following:

3/4 oz. Bacardi Limon rum
1 oz. Bacardi light rum
1/4 oz. Bacardi 151 rum
pineapple juice
orange juice
grenadine
sweet & sour mix

That will whip up a Hurricane that'll make Katrina look like a $10 blow job.

alright fine...i was just trying to keep the process clean.
Put isopropyl or whatever it is (iso) in the jar and pour onto a glass plate, let evaporate over night and scrape the goo with a razor, voala

I would just keep using the same jar for bud storage letting the trich's build up then one day take a razor blade and scrape off all the goooey chuncks and press into hash.
now i'm drooling thinkin about it.

Me too, just leave it in there. Eventually it will build up enough to be a nice reserve if case your ever dry.
