Should I get the Hydrohut???

Ok after some 4 grows now, Im sick of the damage to my house (and long set down time)

So im looking at grow tents.

The Hydrohut 2x4 seems to fit the bill.
It is 4.7 ft x 2.3 feet (go figure)
I have a 600 watt and a 6 inch inline

Will I be able to get a max yield in this size or should I get the 4.7 x 4.7 model???

Also does anyone know how noisy these things are with a 6 inch vortex and a/c shade in there???

Noise is the biggest factor for me, as I have the heat problem down packed (turn off heat, vent into living room and open bedroom window-keeps me at the coveted 70-80 temp range)

\any opinions greatly appreciated...

thx

I would say go for it but just watch out b/c i heard some of the pipes in those new ones are messing w/ the plants.....also watch out for shipping it to you b/c they have the label big and legible for everyone to know and read ur biz........ask the seller to send it stealth.....i love my 3x3x7 and i use a 400watter w/ it.....works great.....i would say using a 600 watter would work better(less heat) w/ the 4x4 model.....plus maximize ur yield....just my opinion....but watch out for the metal in the supports....look around here somewhere for a link just like this one except people already left alot of feedback and experiences.......gl bro

HH deluxe

HH deluxe

1 more "go for it" from me
very happy with my HH Deluxe
seems perfect size for 2 - 600's
easy to keep well vented so far
love the fact you can access it from any side
just got it though, so i have yet to see how it's gonna hold up

......ok, i've finished reading some of the other posts about the HHuts
got me a little worried
i used to work at a place where we zinc plated a lot of metal tubing
the finish looks the same as the HHut finish
i know that we had to drill a lot of drain holes for the plating to drain out properly
pieces that didn't drain properly often had some messy toxic looking stuff inside
i am having a bit of yellowing in my Hut but my pH was jumping around like crazy in the beginning
so im not gonmna jump to any conclusions yet
the new growth seems to be fine but i'm gonna keep a close eye on it

i wouldnt, check out the hydrohut warning threads first, plus theres one saying that theyve closed and arent giving out replacement poles for the contaminated one.

hey zoo, do you know if the homebox makers or any other hut type manufacturer is having problems with their equipment? i wasnt knocking HBs, just reiterating what ive heard bout HHs. I plan on getting a 3x3 from htgsupply.

If I were you I'd get a Homebox. I have a HH Mini and it's great, but mine has that issue that is described as toxic. I'm going to clean it and see what happens, but there are no guarantees. I vegged my plants outside the Hut, and after the first week in the hut they started showing issues I'd never seen before. I thought it was my fault the whole time, but it wasn't. My yield was awful considering I had 5 plants and 5 clones under a 400w light. Best of luck

go what with FunkBomb said. why deal with the hassle?? if i were you, i'd only get a HH if i contacted who i was getting it from, and see if they have heard about the "toxic" HH's. if he's aware of the problem, chances are he wouldnt be selling it if it wasnt fixed or had new poles. but--just buy a HomeBox and avoid all that non-sense :rasta:

I've had the BS toxicity problems with the HydroHut.
Even if they've all been fixed (which I'm not sure is the case) I wouldn't risk it. Save youself the trouble and shop around, trust me.
