Hey Everyone!!!!

I was looking at all the cool pics and had to post a few of mine. She is actually beginning to look good now. Trichomes are showing up more and more...even though my poor photos don't pick them up very well. She has a mild "pine" kind of scent. She still has VERY green leaves. Last two feedings have been at EC's of like 1.3 to 1.5. She has just a touch of burn on very ends of upper fans. This plant really sucks up ferts. That's for sure. I am still hoping it will be the more haze type pheno. Some seem to think it is. Any opinions out there?

I hope everyone is having as much fun as I am!!!!!!!!!

SuperSilverHaze (MNS) at day 52 of flowering Now tell me that really skinny leaf over on the lower left isn't a SATIVA looking leaf. And those buds bear no resemblance whatever to the indicas or the other sativa hybrids I have grown. These buds look really cool. I'm toasted. I should get off of here :sasmokin:

Great Nepalese, HdB !

I have some seeds of Nepalese that come from the hills of the Annapurna range. I'll try them very soon, and your pics make me even more impatient :)

Yeah LM! But Annapurna strain sounds like giants.

Actually Im in grow too with Nepal Katmandu' I think Katmandu look like Annapurna, but my HP 6mpx is dead! So I cant show you pics this days :badday:

If your Annapurna is like Katmandu'...a hard work waiting for you Little Man!

Tank you guys for the good vibrations!

BH: Do you like this Greenhouse at 28ºN?

But this is not "a" greenhouse: there are 4 greenhouses
(the total area its 1300 yards: each GH measuring 40 x 100 feets  )

something like a football stadium....but isnt full of MJ :rasta:

Tomorrow my buddy help my to do the Vietnam Dalat Report. (I hope!)

Hi again:

My poor Skunker girl!! I was taking off some ribbon and she fell off the tub side INTO the damn tub but ended up right side up THANK GOD!!! Idiot boy here almost lost a lot of work. She's not leaning but the stakes are LOL!!

Anyway...

Here is my Seedsman Skunk Haze She isn't as pretty a plant as my SSH. I think I may have overdone her ferts a tad. She just can't handle the same nute load IMO, but I may be wrong.
She is at Day 57 of flower so 8 weeks. I think it may be time to begin cutting back?

She has nice buds but no where near the trichomes that the SSH has. As that typical for this strain?

I'm not peruvian but I'm living in Ecuador... peruvian and colombian weed is what you get here. Ecuadorian weed (grown in ecuador) is usually colombian or peruvian or a mix of both... unnamed weed grown in the region (andes mountains from colombia, peru & ecuador ) are very similar IMO.
Thanx for posting that. I grew some Ecuadorian 'brickseeds' outdoors last summer but I did not have a clue of its possible origin. For sure they weren't Colombians, but now that you mention Peruvian I think I might see some resemblances in your pics. Still a guess what my plants are made of, but at least now I have a hint in the right direction.

Should you have any more info on the plants grown in Ecuador, please feel free to post. Cheers! :bandit:

pedro48 - I love to see sativa-dom hybrids - especially such high-yielders. As for the Skunk Haze, I grew some Skunk#1 from Seedsman last year, and I'm convinced that I got a Skunk Haze seed mixed in there, as one pheno took 13 weeks to flower, had few trichomes compared to the others, and was a very strange plant - the buds were entirely composed of crazy clusters.

The smell was strange during flower - weird smells including, turpentine, floor-polish, vomit - and they kept changing. By the time it was dry, it has a weird mix of pear, fuel and solvent. The high was superb though - very, very sativa dominant, with warm ears, occasional gasping for breath, and slight visual effects. If it wasn't a Skunk Haze, it was an outrageous Skunk!

I managed to get a few accidental seeds from Flo pollen, so there's something preserved for the future...:)

@hombre de barro. WOW! I'm so envious of your grow setup not to mention all the exotic sativas you have! really incredible stuff. keep us posted with those beauties and smoke reports definitely! I know it won't be easy with that many kick ass strains frying your mind. but try not to forget about us. lol.

I grew an f2 pheno of the nepalese and I gotta say I wasn't overly impressed. But I think it is probably an incredible breeding tool to shorten flower times and keep the stone a meditative sativa.

@marijuana mat. oh yeah. I think I might've asked you that once before. mexi seeds huh? I'll have to investigate.

@naun briones. really pretty plant. I wish I could grow in my backyard like that.

@pedro. WOW. yeah shes really startin to fill in now. I think you're gonna like that one alot. I never grew that one so you're gettin into your own waters now but it looks like you know what you're doin nowadays.

@mad scientist. really cool pic. I know the feeling of staring at schwag trying to imagine it growing. where do you get them from at the same time? vacation? or at a shop in a'dam?

@herbalistic. no sweat on my part I just hope you're alright man. in the future I'd have called my friends to pull him away where i didn't have anything proven in the altercation.

Don't feel bad about kickin his ass. I am known to snap sometimes too. only white kid (and not big at that) in a black neighborhood for many years growing up. Got into many many fights.

As for security. A baby monitor at vulnerable points of the grow is helpful. Of course a 90lb dog that'll tear out your jugular vein is a big help. But short of that a good locked door like you have pretty good. If it was the smell that gave you away I'd have a reason to not be by the door. Put a 5gal bucket full of paint thinner, floor cleaner, industrial disinfectant, ammonia. etc. stuff that stinks and will either over ride or mask the smell of the door.

depending on location (if the door is in an alley or something) you might be able to spill some sort of tar on the ground that would keep people from walkin by your door or get your shoes full of crap at the bottom.

But if you're growing in the house you live in, or a nice neighborhood, or there is only one entrance/exit it can be alot harder to do.

But be careful man. tear down if you have to. no sense gettin in trouble over that. A friend of mine in the mid 90's had a crackhead threaten a very similiar thing and he broke some teeth out and broke his jaw and the dude still called the cops a week later. The guy I knew just flushed his stuff and denied it but thats harder to do wth a grow op. so be careful man. move if you can.

I'm travelling to Peru(Lima) maybe Ecuador also, How easy is it to get hold of some good equatorial sativas maybe that Rójó too?
Would like to do some empirical research on the fine South American herb.

The "skunk peruano" sounds really interesting also, is it something commonly available in Ecuador or is it only local? Really looking forward on the trip &
thank you for this outstanding thread.

The Zamal pheno Blueberry x Zamalhaze is almost done at 14 weeks, she looks great, the buds have a lovely silvery sheen to them. The BB pheno was a fantastic smoke, my friend came round tonight and he told me he found a little bud the other day left over from the sample I gave him and after smoking it he thought it was the best of the samples I've given him in the last year or two which covers quite a lot of good to great sativas. I really liked it too as it had a massive smooth, sweet taste and smell from the Blueberry and inherited the immense smell from the BB father which I selected for his huge smell even in veg. The high retained a lot of the Zamalhaze influence so I really liked it although it had a toouch too much BB influence for me to choose it as the mother of the F2 gen. I think this Zamal pheno is the one I will chose, but sadly the cuts of her didn't root and there is no lower growth so I doubt I'll be able to reveg her so I'll have to start the search all over again from seed, but at least I've been able to determine that this hybrid has the quality to merit more work.

And here's a Trainwreck at 65 days, this is the nicest of the four TW ladies and has no male bananas unlike two of the TW gals. Seriously resinous but the buds are really small.

@Motaco: Aha! So what you call schwag is usually brickweed?

It's from a shop in Rotterdam. I used to live there and every now and then when I'm there nowadays I always pay that particular shop a visit because I know they always have something out of the ordinary.

@British_Hempire: Looking good man! I was gifted some Zamal x Warlock seeds which I'm very keen on growing soon. Have you grown any of those yet and if so, would you have any pics of them? I'm pretty curious...

Here's a few shots of my current Goldfinger (Malawi Gold X Flo) pheno at seven weeks exactly - this one is clearly showing the Flo influence now, as the cylindrical colas of the Malawi have been replaced by the 'spear' shape of the Flo, with smaller buds below it. Additionally, the foxtail clusters are beginning to develop with excellent resin coverage, and a wonderful berry smell is building behind the floral/pineapple - all Flo influences to be sure.

I'm hoping this will be a faster pheno than previous, finishing at 10-11 weeks, which will be a huge improvement. Anyone got some of these seeds sent before they ran out, I'd really recommend starting them...:chin:

The Goldfinger looks really good as it did last time. I've got some of those seeds and would love to try them out someday soon, compare to the Blueberry x Zamalhaze cross I made, similar parentals in each. I've discovered a lot of variation in the F1 BB x ZH, gonna take a lot of careful selection to take that project any further. I'm just about to harvest a very sativa leaning pheno BB x ZH at 14 weeks so the BB didn't shave much of the original Zmalhaze's 16 weeks. I've just put my Zamalhaze mother back into flowering too, she never really reverted to veg properly and if I let her get any bigger, I'd never have the space to flower her.

Hey MS,
If the aroma you got was deep citric, most probably was peruvian
There is also a strain grown in Banos, which locals call Purple Haze... spicy smell and uplifting high, not the best aroma and flavor IMO but great sativa high... don't know the origins (probably purple colombian) It is quite easy to get seeds, if I include some in my next grow I'll post some pictures for you.

I had the pleasure to stay in Baños years ago for some resting days after climbing Cotopaxi and other vulcans there and making some trekking. Baños is also a entrance for the jungle, the Oriente how they call it. There are some marvellous hot water pools coming out from the Tungurahua vulcano in which base Baños is located. btw vulcano is still active so be aware!!! Ecaudor is divided in 3 clear areas, wild jungle (oriente), sierra (central meset highland full of vulcanos) and west coast side where most fruits, palm, bananos and so are grown.

Some weed fields of thin colombianas at 2000 mts high well hidden and used by locals. They told me was just Colombian weed as well and couldnt name them accuratelly apart from saying is columbian. Very strong, youngers smoke it in the old classic way keeping the smoke inside ur lungs till ur face turns blue LOL After that they go trippy. They couldnt believe hash we brougth there didnt put us as wild as to their friends local weed effect produced and though wasnt coming from cannabis plants.

Peru is so vast country to tell what is produced there. I know northern area mostly. Its an unbelievable country! planty of different areas and microclimas.. Mountains like the both Huascaran can reach 7 thousand mts high! Much acclimatation is need to walk over there. Some lovely trekking places and old culture sites. U can spend a year in Peru and wont still know it well. Their peruvian Punto Rojo had always a good reputation over there and is been grown much isolated of other influences. They are always very afraid to talk about weed due police.

best
