quick nitro?

well after last night it seems that i need a good nitrogen boost. a couple ladies are lookin like they are low on it. the whole plant yellowish. i dont get it as i thought the peruvian guano would suffice but i guess not. any ideas?

what part of growth are you at, veg, flower, seedling. what do you have on hand to give it?

36 days bloom. really all i have now is jamaican,peruvian sb guanos, kelp extract, ej bloom, thats really about it. im trying to find something fast cuz placing an order will take a week. no hydro store round these parts and the garden shop is slim pickins in the winter. oh, i did buy a bag of local mushroom compost. i wonder if a good tea of that stuff will work. i tried a light kelp foliar. but i have a feeling it wont cut it.

top dress with some high n guano. depending on how much longer the plant has to go i would vary the amount. water it in with some molasses water and it should help within a day or two.

going to try it tonight. for some reason i cant get bloodmeal in the winter time here. i do have high N guano though. damn i need more molasses. luckily the grocery right up the street has the good stuff. thanks guys we will see if this helps.

I like N guano as a topdress as JK mentioned, molasses will definately give them a boost.
If smeel is not an issue you can use your urine 10:1 but I only use urine outdoors but it works in containers too.

You can trow in some kelp meal too, plants use K at a lesser but important rate along with N so keep getting kelp in when you can.

sorry vini, i am now trying to stay away from fish meal. it seems to impart a nasty taste to me. i dont know, i might be alone on this one but after a side by side comparison i can say that the final product tastes a little better without the fish meal. thats why im in this situation. i canned the fish meal. but you ARE right. that stuff works well and fast. just dont taste so good.

The only fish product I recommend is Neptune's Harvest hydrolysed fish meal (sp?), it contains the fish fat which is a real fungal booster during flowering, alot of tea recipies to mutilply fungi contain fish fat.

And yes it stinks but not nearly as bad.

At 36 days of flower, that should be the most effective and easiest product to attain. (walmarts/homedepots etc.) Good Luck!

On the other hand, you dont really even NEED much more N, IMO. I've been basically flushing for the last 2.5 weeks of flower and coming out w some VERY gentle, yet pungent and flavorful herb. When should she be finishing?

stoned cold: this particular plant is supposed to go ten weeks. thats what worries me.
i didnt think of super thrive. how much nitrogen does it have in it?

In that case, you may have time to re-up your N and push it back out before harvest. The Superthrive is made of primarily Urea, I think. In a nutshell, it will make small amounts of N, very accesable. That way you dont need to ADD much N, as opposed to maximizing the uptake of what's already in the soil/ anything you add. Make sense?

Hey, hit my post limit yesterday, but wanted to MAKE SURE you dont o.d them babies like I recently did on accident! 4-5 drops ended up in 1 gln and 2 PowerPlants went into a coma! Anywho; any luck yet? Any new green?
