i grew a seedplant in a small clump of bushes next to my local courthouse. i had to check in 2 times a week to drug test cuz i was on felony probation for cultivation. i germed at home and scuffed the soil and dropped it in...watered with miracle grow out of powerade bottle so it wouldn't look suspicious..plant got to about 20 inches (w/pinched top) before it disappeared on me( no buds cuz it was mid july) i hope it was work furlough inmates that got it for some jail time smoke.

Hey Now, Overgrow the public places. This idea is revolutionary and it works. Sure you will lose some plants, or miss the ideal harvest, but picture your morning newspaper with a strong thriving ganja plant in some downtown planter on the front page. Growing is'nt just about profit, it public perception that needs to change. Growing right under some courthouse window, will give you a chuckle every time you ever have to pass by that place. Overgrow is a progressive passive statement. When you harvest that budding plant from some public park you'll be smiling from ear to ear.

There's a county sheriff's office in northern California where people throw seeds at least once a year. They never get much past showing their first fingered leaves, though. I wouldn't want to try to grow a crop in public, but tossing your bagseed somewhere official sounds pretty funny. We should organize a mass protest where people nation (world?) wide throw pot seeds into any dirt they can find near drug enforcement offices. As Bush would say, we've got to bring the battle to them or the terrorists will win.

"Johnny Weedseed" thing ain't gonna work, IMO. How many years has it been since this has been going around, and have enough people actually did it or got around to it to make ANY sense of a difference? Hell naw, haha

It's just gonna draw more attention to growing in your area

When i lived in the big smoke in Sydney, one of the Sydney football grounds is located next to a swamp, a road follows this swamp to Captain Cooks first ever landing on Australian soil to a place called Kurnell. I grew alot of Durban Poison along this roadway that is heavily used daily, my plants were scattered along the roadside, probably about 3 metres from the road. None were ever found by the two-legged riporoforous.

Often the most obvious places are the last people will suspect.

I still grow along the side of the road occasionally just to see what happens, sometimes they die, last year I came back to a pleasant surprise on the way to my Mums, when I stopped to see how a plant Id left for dead went and was happy to find it drooped over from the weight of the buds, only got two ounces from it but it was one of the moments in time you cherish.

A friend of mine who works in a local courthouse says this type of stuff happens alot, disgruntled 'busted' people and youngsters are usually the culprits

We should try to get people from all over the world to plant seeds in there biggest city parks at the start of next season and document our our progress and outcomes on ic. We could start a Revolución! I had a small clone last season growing in a major city alley cramped between two garages with no cover-got great light-harvested a meager 5 grams but is wasn't half bad. :rasta:

In the 80's some cazy dudes dumped a couple bucket loads of seeds in the nepean river sydney australia. While i didnt actually see any plants because i was a lil young the story is still talked about today. The same was done the year before or after in the hawkesbury river. Apparently massive amounts of plants were all allong the banks.

Roar!!

Thats a plan and a half. I've been planting random seeds all the time. I tossed an ounce worth out the window on the way between lismore and nimbin... There should have been a couple out of the hundreds i threw out. But that was like 4 years ago now.

Winters the best time for random plantings tho; they only need to be a few nodes high to bud....

Done it many times.... Mainly out of pleasure.... I find it thrilling finding a plant. No matter how big.

what do cops have to have to charge you with growing and its outdoors not on your property? even if they saw you in the immediate area, couldnt you just deny it?
