I had my 400 about 10-12 in from the plants and could see more then 4 plants working well under my light. I had then at 12-16 in tall and LSTed pretty well.
HOWEVER, If you have the ability you could SOG up to 20 clones.

Im just finishing a SOG run under my 400 watt hps. I ran about 20-23 one gallon bags underneath my 400. It was crowded but will yield nicely. Each plant this run will hopfully produce about 12 grams dried and cured which would give me just over 8oz's. Im not sure if i will actually meet that mark but we will see. Here are some pics of this last grow. If you want to you can check it out in my sig..
I use hoods with tempered glass so the nugz can get as close as they want pretty much. I had one plant this last round that grew up to .25" away from the glass with ZERO negative effects. SOG is a great way to produce a bunch of bud, and it makes perpetual harvest way easier. Thanks all

Opinions may vary, but using it in sog is the best way to make more bud. LST limits bud produccion to upper level while SOG limits bud produccion to middle seccion.
It could cover a 1m2 and flower 16 plants easely.
Each clone should have ~5L of soil and be veggued till it reaches ~20cm high!
Now that kind of situation, with the proper care, should garantee a LOT of bud with a 600W...

Hi all 400watters, today i chopped 1 of my Aurora Indicas at 54-55days flowering, & left the rest for a few more days...

Hey Guys
I chopped the ladies on wednesday!!!!! They are currently in boxes getting ready for the cure and will hopefully be ready to start smoking around xmas.
Got a clone coming from another ICMAG grower so I`m gonna veg that while I rebuild the grow room then pop a selection of beans for the first run in my new grow room, also looking into coco as a new growing medium (lots to think about) in the mean time I`m back in amsterdam with my assistant grower, silent bob (real name obviously not bob and he`s not too silent but only I post) so thats something to look forward to.
Heres some pics starting with NO2 and my favourite one.
And NO1
I would like to thank all who helped with this grow, all advice and opinion was gratefully recieved.
Everyones grows are looking good keep it up, I`m gonna be lurking.

Looks like im joinin up! will probably need a few pointers down the road.

I plan on using this through veg/flower.

Looking good lune, Thanx Blizzard, any questions, Don`t hesitate to ask, this was my first grow and I am planning expansion but anything I can do to help just ask.
Not great pics, better ones to come soon hopefully, the final yield around an oz and a half per plant. NO1.

i'm going to use a 400 W MH in a 20" x 32" x 52" (D*W*H) space with a cool tube and a 300 CFM fan. Room temp @ 68 F now, up to 88 F in 4 months.
You think it's going to be too hot? Too much light for a too smal space?
How far i have to put the cool tube from the lamps?
I have a magnetic ballast. Do you think is a smart idea to place it under the fan exhaust? How much hot it get? can rise the temps of the room if placed on the outside wall of the grow?

I think those are some damn nice pictures, mayyyybeee you should get high speed Internet and you wont be so bitchy about someones good grow that they have a right to be proud of. Thats my 2 cents.
