are you in the Ft. Collins area of CO by chance? Some of the best tasting herb I've ever smoked was simply known as Fort Collin's Cough..................got it on phil tour at red rocks in 00-01...............just unbelievable...............great thread!

theres 2 CO coughs, one outta fort collins and one outta boulder, both are haze crosses one with NL, and another with Skunk. i forget which is which.

hell kyle kushmans got the whole world believing there is a strain called strawberry fields and it would appear most of the people on here believe it exists although i can be sure nobody on here has ever smoked or seen strawberryfields being for sale...why? because it dosnt exist. was just a b.s story made/hyped up by k.k. i can tell you first hand the people that gave k.k the cut think he's a total blowhard over this.

I have smoked Strawberry Fields, it was very real. Not the most powerful in any way but it did have a strawberry-ness to it. your first post is exactly what people are talking about. mis-information. why even post, if your such a noob and don't know? thats alot of speculation just because you never saw something, or someone told you something.....

Im originally from that area and smoked plenty of the SF when they were being run.

actaully ive met kyle plento of times too. and had the sc cut probably 3 years before him as did my whole crew. i know i dont have "post cred" since im a newb or whatever you may call me. im not sure how you smoking with kyle has anything at all to do with you believing the b.s story that he spread via high times. since when has high times been a good source of information??

kyle never went to vermont to get the clone. i remeber the very day he got it back in 2000. because my friend J was so excited to hook the guy from ht up with a cut since he had passed free cut out to anyone who wanted one pretty much. J and Kyle met through a mutual friend Mr.S The original strawbs cut came from some kids in girlington who at the time (early to late 90's) where growing some amazing trinity, church ,and sc. I would imagine anyone who lived in burlington or the genreal area at the time remembers those 3 going around. oddly I can honestly say i have never nor anybody i know has never heard of the strawberry fields. and honstly you would have to be a total idiot to think that a hybrid can take on the smell and taste of strawberrys simply because it was grown next to strawberries in a field. some dumb ass kids reading high times might believe that crap but really come on now if that was the case every breeder would have a fruit plants in thier breeding rooms.

I don't know the article your referring to but I have never seen SF done outdoors. All the SF I saw was done indoors and was one/two steps away from beasters.. They had a lite strawberry smell and had the shape and look of strawberries. Tight little nugs, lots of hair. Low odor.. Most indoors growers were looking for low odor back then..

I really don't understand now... What money? Maybe he sold the initial cut to Dutch Passion that they work with, but they produce the IMO sub-par SC seeds, not KK.. Rezdog made Strawberry Diesel with the SC cut and Im willing to bet he didn't pay KK for it.. and you bet your seeming trollish now..

kyle breed the strawbs for 3 years? i know i said i wouldnt bother with this subject but are you kidding? strawberry cough was clone only northern vt thing. he was gifted a cut for free from someone elsewhere in new england and proceeded to attach his name to it & lie about its history and whore the strain out for his finacial gain. which in my opinion is a big swag move. i guess its easy to fool the world when your in a position of public power so to speak. i do fully understand how my posts stir the pot dont get me wrong and that is not at all my interest, just trying to spread some truth around a bit.
