To make Thai stick????

I'm looking for info. on the best method to use, for coating thai on a stick. I would like to wrap buds around a stem, coat it with whatever is best, wrap the product in wax paper, shrink wrap, and store long term.
Cleanest way, that wont have the resin all over the paper, and best to handle, without getting it all over your fingers.

Any suggestions?

The orginial Thai stick, was dipped in a opium wash. I don't think that is what you are asking about?

May be in some thai villages, but the thai sticks you could buy in the seventies, for example in Amsterdam, didn`t need some opium to knock you down...

1972= 9 to 11 tie sticks per oz and the cost any place in the orient was .25 to .50, in the US they were $15.00.
1975= 18- 20 tie sticks per oz and all that I saw were Northern California Sensi sold has tie for $15.oo to $25 a stick. None of the small sticks were in the orient. Some of us that were in Nam smoked so much of the large sticks that we smoked the bambo stick when we ran out!

As a juvie I had a connect for the opiated thai sticks. A "buddy" got popped and ratted on 20 of us. One of my charges listed selling "tied sticks", they woulda shit to know they were dipped!

I think there are better ways to store your bud than making sticks- the less handling the better.

as a chemistry student back in the 70's, I freakin quan/qual'd every damn "opiated" thai stick or nug I ran across

not one ever tested positive for opiates

most of em just knocked you on your ass though, so maybe it seemed that way.

not sure if ours were genuine thai (berkeley, ca 1970's), but they all had that chocolate/orange fragrance in the bag, and sweet and spicy almost cinnamon smoke, and after 10 minutes you were pretty much a giggling stupid mass of flesh piled into a comfy chair, watching starsky and hutch or battlestar gallactica.

Thai sticks are not opiated, at least not in the late 60s or early 70s in Nam. I traded a bag of apples for a bag of thai in Saigon. Thai then was just pressed bud on a stick.

Simpel Take your semi dryed buds wrap them around a dry stick let then wrap what ever around them paper is the best and put it in a hot place

After some time 2 months it all fermentet, but i wouldent reccomend doing it tastes like shit compared to cured

I do it every year, some times with a vanilla stick orange peels ect in there

Today in thai land 98 % comes from Laos and the modern version is compressed bricks

Just like the do in south america

Lately there has been some Fermented bud from Ukrain it get you high but no one wants fermented bud....

a couple years ago i grew thai sativa. was supposed to be pure sativa. the plant grew to 7 feet in a spiral branching pattern. i have never seen this pattern in any other plant. it took almost a month to flower. at the end of each branch a column of flowers began to develop into "thai sticks". when i harvested at three and a half months, she was still not ripe, but i needed the room. each stick rolled neatly into the bottom of a gallon ziplock. they all weighed closed to 1/4 oz.

she was extremely cerebral. could not inhale after 5 at night if i planned on sleeping at all.

Most off the weed you get in thailand /Laos gets you really stoned
and dont really live up to the trippy sativa that many talks about

Same story with the cambodian where as ganja from south india defines the trippy sativa
