Care to explain your setup details more so people can give sound advice?

This is like growing 101, odor control, first chapter of any growbook...

Carbon scrubber/filter, Vaportek 4000...

I believe in carbon scrubbers. You need a scrubber attached to a inline fan. The air pulls through the scrubber and vents out somewhere clean smelling (outside, another room, etc...) Not only will it remove the odor but if you exhaust air somewhere else it removes some hot air too.

On top of a carbon scrubber I use 2 vaptronics in my house. It's a wall mountable air deodorizer and scent masker. The bigger brother to this is the Vaportek 4000 and for larger areas. You buy replaceable scent discs. I don't think it's a viable solution on it's own though. Well at least not for me, I have neighbors close by and wouldn't let all my security fall on a wall mounted device.

http://www.johnsonsupplyinc.com/ has the wall mount versions.

The easiest way to get rid of the smell is to send me all your plants! Otherwise, carbon filter, Ona bucket, liked showed above, Vaportek.

our needs might be different bro. for your setup it may cover your needs.

if you find the fan you think is perfect, go ahead and buy two or three of em. these are so easy to make and when you get the ona and crystals you already got the materials for at least two. in my area the fans are considered seasonal items sometimes hard to find. i had to do some duct tape modification on my last fan. i still haven't refilled my first one in almost 3 weeks, just stirred the mix up the other night.

that 1st one posted, it looks like it was made with a honeywell turbo fan like i got to circulate air in my room... i was thinking they could be used for something like this if you took the stand off... now i know eh

thats the one harry! pop the lil covers off the side and you can take that stand off with a couple of screws.

I found a thread that details this wonderful odor killer.

Anyway I had a quick question, and I apoligize rc51, I am not trying to jack your thread, but if anyone has any experience with apartment growing, can a few really stinky mj plants have strong enough odors to penetrate drywall and insulation and whatnot to make it into an adjacent apartment? thanks.
