Usually, I let the clover go for a week or two so that the honeybees have a chance to get their nourishmentMy weed infested lawn is a hot spot for honeybees and bumblebees. I have to go slow so I dont kill a hive worth of bees when I mow. I have some flower that is loaded with pollen. The bumblebees will circle the flower hitting it as they circle it and release cloud of pollen. Kind of cool to watch it.
The honeybees land on the flower and fill their pollen sacks and hit the tiny flowers. They hit the clover pretty hard as well.
