I made a new batch of biscuits last night and had some with a cuppa tea afterwards.

i haven't eaten any lamb since i was about 6 years old. mom used to fix chops, and THEN...a kids show came on with a character named "lamb chop"... shot that right in the ass.

I know what you mean . we had a pet lamb once when I was around the same age, maybe one or two years older. And I mean a real-life one! One of the reasons why I could never touch the meat for so many years... 🥴

Haven't really been eating...down to 298 it looks like. 50 pounds to go. Healthy food. Walking 5 miles a day. Really miss cheese, milk, baked sweets, chocolate, potato chips, pizza, hotdogs, ice cream, trail mix, fried chicken...anything good I can't eat. Eating fruit, some vegetables, cheeseburgers, fruit juice, wheat bread, yogurt. I have more coffee during the day than I do food. My lower stomach is still huge but working on it. Can't do situps, had hernia surgery and my stomach would explode.

sit ups are really bad for you anyway as they hurt the spine.
You can try cutting out (wheat) bread and replace it with oats or potatoes for a more healthy source of carbs :)
I suggest drinking lots of water instead of so much coffee too. Coffee is acidic but the human body needs to be kept alkaline in order to be healthy. The body will then simply `let go´ of the additional stored water and as a result you end up losing some water weight. More protein is also a good idea.

I´m trying to loose more weight too especially as I´ve managed to regain some this past year :( I´ve decided to have more protein. As for carbs... oh well. My favourite camembert was on special offer last week and I treated myself. I´ll be making a small baguette to go with it and that will be the last time i eat bread for a good while ;) It´s just gonna be salad and a proetin source from now on and potataoes only maybe once per week.

I lost a lot of weight and kept it off with a low carb diet. My main guideline is no processed food with over 4% carbs per serving. A lot of animal fat and fiber.

Fiber grams will cancel out carb grams but there is a time lag if you are checking blood sugar.
