Yeah its a Defender level 4 vest, rated for rifle threat. I don't do combat training or anything, just try to level up in fitness. Just felt like saying that after hearing Metallica One. I like shooting guns occasionally doing target practice. My fried showed me a hand gun drill. One of my buddies goes to civilian combat training. He loves firearms, and has a collection. He said they always pray before they get started to God for protection and make them able fighters to for the defense.

My Nephew's basket ball team just crushed it this morning! Got like 30-40 points to 0. Dominated the game. They have a great coach thats doing all the right things to get the fire burning. They're 8 yrs old, love seeing them have a good role model coach to help them get started!

Out to hike with dogs 24 F.
we are only allowed muskets in the uk

training is fun. i did some boxing training and body sparring this morning and had a smoke and a nap and i'm ready for action again. grazed my elbow badly by slightly missing my timing. i enjoy western boxing and muay thai

I'm a good shot on the long bow and musket. pass the bong

Dogs are scared of gunshots so I rarely do target practice. Can't defend your property very well with a 1 shot musket. Thats kind of bullshit. Pretty scarry because anyone with a semi/ automatic could break in and rob you if they knew you were law abiding and only had the 1 shot musket. Criminals don't obey firearms laws evidently.

Did a hike with dad and got the dogs ran out. I am resting up for the spring. Only running a little bit as necessary. I ran at the park a few hundred feet, but I need more. When the weather warms up a little into the 50's I like to run. Harder to run in the cold.

My friend does jujitsu and is always showing me moves. I am a yellow belt in karate in gradeschool.

i agree. the cold and wet does make running less enjoyable. up hill walking with a weighted backpack is a good one, and less impact on your joints

juijitsu is useful for sure

and you are correct , we can't own anything valueable. it is not worth the trouble .

You yourself are the greatest value. So many years of work and effort and time and money, your safety is everything. God has called you for His holy purposes and has built you up as his servant. Thing about how far you've come along over the years.

Yeah in jujitsu they practice having 5 attackers at once. He would get a little beat up some times. Some guys went way too hard in practice.

the most dangerous people are the evil ones with nothing to lose.

it is all sport for me and would only help in self defence if it was a fair fight . hand to hand . most the time it doesn't work like that and a gun is best

self defence is important , and awareness and just staying away from nutjobs the best we can

the best move in the face of possible danger is to run away . i would run away

Absolutely, one of the first lessons of karate is never enter a fight you don't know for certain you will win. Also never use your karate to intimidate or hurt anyone for personal gain.
