On the safety front, there are all kinds of safety. For some of us it is very important to keep plant counts to a minimum. It would be great if the law allowed what we do, but it doesn't, and penalties can be harsh if plant numbers get too high.
Clearly I'd run multiple smaller plants given the choice, but it's nice to know that LEDs can grow larger plants these days, the depth of usable light is now very usable.

I just noticed that with my LeGrand Timer the LEDs of my MarsHydro TS600 are glowing in the dark, so they are not totally off!? Should i worry, is this a known problem? 
The LeGrand Timers are very good and it was used only for a few grows till now. I go search for my cheap timer tomorrow and will try it...

@Mitsuharu Turn the lamp power conector in the outlet of the timer (if u from UK that might not work, tho, cause of the 3rd leg of the connector). problem should be solved in 90% of the cases.

FWIW.. A very good timer that doesn't break both connections is not a very good timer! Altrough I am pretty sure most manufacturers they are in the mindset of making an economy of cents per piece rather than add that feature.
PS, you can mark the good way to plug it in with a marker on both timer and plug so u know which way it goes in next time, if you ever disconnect it.
