Valerian bloom extract as bloom stimulator?

I wonder if valerian flower extract could be usefull for bloom.
Only found german info but on one homepage they claim that u can induce flowering in cactus early, when used in normal dosage at pumpkin they kill their selfe by producing too much flower and with general use in gardening more flower also on species who else wont flower appropriate. They where very specific to use only flower not stem, leaf or root for the extract.

Is anyone using valerian flower extract as a bloom boost?

When i got it right its the bloom hormones from the valerian flowers that does the trick.

Only flowers(cut stems from clusters) are used and extraxted with rainwater for 1-2 days. Either before or after the time its mixed with a blender afterwards strained through cloth. Best outdoor because of the smell. Can be stored in bottles in cold for a year.

Got the pic from a german homepage. Early spring at 15 drops per liter or september for winter blooming cactus. Don't know one thing about cactus but the flowers look big.

Might pop a couple of teabags in rainwater for a cold brew, perhaps with some kombucha to make it shelf stable. Getting straight flowers might be a tricky one this time of year.

Yeah think kombucha could help. I also think that flowers and water on their own start to lacto ferment and be stable.

if you look up Biodynamic compost, I think Valerian tea is one of the magic ingredients.

Yeah steiner is mentioned often when talked about valerian. Read part of a diploma paper where they tested the p uptake in oats and lupin but got no significant relation. But a lot of nice things to look up is in the literature survey about biodynamic. Think foilar application on fruit trees to enhance flowering was one but not always reproducable. But only german sorry

Was reading the swiss forum the last days and some people use it to speed up flowering. But the claims are inconsistend. A lot of people use it when first pistills appeare to speed up flowering at ~3-5% solution for 2 weeks as foilar. Some claim no difference when used other would use it more often if the extract was not that expensive when bought. Outdoors one claimed that the plant that showed last preflowers was finished first after foilar application for some weeks. Some start foilar application at middle/end of july .

Think i gonna start a side by side when i have space in my growroom. Get some known clones and try foilar, foilar+watering and controll

Made it today, 2 grams of dried valerian flowers from an Etsy Wicca enthusiast infused in just under a litre of overdone sencha/moringa kombucha vinegar.
Will leave it for a couple of weeks before a first go but that much should last for ages.
There's two Red Snake (Oaxacan X Punto Rojo) just shown sex, will try a mild foliar on one.
