Suggestions for best (or good) auto breeding tool

You need to get yourself a Ruderalis strain from a good seed source. It would help to know the flower times of the plant to match your cross. You can take your Northern Lights favorite plant and cross with the Ruderatis. It will take some time and a lot of work but you can do it with your interest alone. It takes a lot of seeds and a lot of crossing. Good luck and keep us posted Friend.

You have quite a few choices. Perhaps one of the best ways to go is to keep it as simple as possible to test things out for yourself.
It's becoming more and more difficult to track down good pure regular autoflowers from Mexico, Russia, and the US. It's certainly not impossible, though. If you want to start from scratch you can use a Lowryder, Lowryder 2, or Sensi used to offer a Ruderalis Indica and Ruderalis Skunk which are both excellent medicinal starters. Autoflowering plants like those (among others) are good starting points.
However, if you want to keep things as simple as possible, I'd look into getting regular auto beans of a plant you find favorable -- minus the Northern Lights type properties. There are still varieties such as:
You can inbreed or cross just as you would a photoperiod. Nice and easy and a good experiment for the curious.

Blue Himalaya and Nepali need to totally be on my list ! But I'm also going to experiment with siberian and Kurgan ruderalis. I also have an idea about a finnish hemp strain that is very well documented Finola. The ryders are very attractive with their dwarf stature, but the original low ryder seems to include NL, so for the beginning at least, i'll try to avoid them. I'm very psyched by this project. I'm also very interested in Nordic strains. My future on the cannabic path clearly lies somewhere between Danemark and Siberia .

Good luck with your project! Working with the Nordic strains is a very good idea. Iceland has some very interesting cannabis work going on these days it seems, along with other regions spanning across western Europe, of course. You have an opportunity to break fresh or rarely explored ground with auto crosses more focused to those regions. Certainly some excellent medicinal strains are waiting to be revealed. I hope you have some fun with them!^^

Add: I figure you're already aware of it, but I'll toss in Khalifa's Chebarkul Siberian Ruderalis CBD Auto. Given what you've stated as your preferences, that medicinal strain and others like it seem to fit your project's framework well. It has well rounded lab results and probably has an overall architecture that lends well to cross breeds with some of the semi-auto strains from your favored regions that can be bred out to reveal stable autos. I imagine you'd want to cross using more compact mates and select out over time, though. Just a last thought on it if you end up going with a more complicated line of crosses.

bonjour, il y a le micron auto tao de graines top tao dans les variétés auto de très petite taille et elles sont régulières. Je n'en ai jamais cultivé mais cette année je fais de la taomatique pour quelques croisements et production de graines. Si vous avez besoin d'infos sur le taomatic, je peux vous les donner. hello, there is the micron auto tao from top tao seeds in auto varieties of very small size and they are regular. I've never grown it but this year I'm doing some taomatics for some crossbreeding and seed production. If you need info on the taomatic, I can give it to you. good luck.

Check cphseeds.dk. They have a few autos that are a combination of old danish genetics (brought by hippies in the 70’s from northern india/pakistan i believe) crossed with a Lowryder 2 (LR x Diesel Ryder i think). Some of their strains have been grown in Scandinavia for decades so they’re well acclimated. They have regular LR#2. Other autos are fem. But you can always breed with fem as well, just do the STS/koloidial silver thing.
There is also seedheaven which is a finish seedbank. Its guerilla growers selling their seed mainly. So not always f5’s and stable but genetics that grow in Finland are sure to manage any cold climate haha. I think they all grow on above latitude 60 and check the finish section here you’ll see some of them grow beasts!

Hi @Lebanizer , did you find something "ideal" to breed like semi-dwarf auto structure? I was looking for the same, plus columnar growth and hardiness (below 0°C temperatures, and drought). I think maybe Finola variety is the ideal, but it's diffcult to find in my country.
I bought a pack of Selected Siberian from Kwik, I hope to find there what I'm looking for.

hi, they also have Afghaan 90 a dwarf indica in regular. it could be a good starting point to cross with a dwarf auto such as White Dwarf or the red dwarf Automatic from Buddha Seeds.

I hate to admit it but as far as dwarf breeding tool, Lowryder is still the best offer in town.

Don't listen to the other guy, Afghaan 90 isn't a dwarf strain at all. Some plants can have a short build (1m) but definitely not dwarf. Quite a pleasant high though. Go with Lowryder if you care for dwarf. CPH has it.
