Here are all of my current Quaze Haze hybrids. Please forgive my Eye related names, except for Pitfall. Pitfall was someone else’s name that I found on seedfinder after I crossed them. Harpo was the best of my 3 Pitfall phenos. If you’re familiar with the Marx Bros. you can probably guess what the names of the other two Pitfall phenos were.

Anyways, here’s my female Quaze Haze hybrids:

The Eye of Providence - Quaze Haze 75% x Durban Poison (Sensi Seeds) 25% I also have 50%x50% & 87.5%x12.5%, but 75%x25% is the one I have an f4 of.

The Eye of Cthulhu - Quaze 75% × Durban Poison (Sensi Seeds) 12.5% × Cinderella 99 (B.Grimm) 12.5%)

The Eye of Cthulhu Prophecy - Quaze 50% x (Durban Poison (Sensi Seeds) 25% × Cinderella 99 (B.Grimm) 25%)

The Eye of Baphomet - Quaze 75% X Harpo's Pitfall* 25%

The Eye of Baphomet Prophecy - Quaze 50% × Harpo's Pitfall* 50%

*(Harpo's Pitfall is Durban Poison (Sensi Seeds) 50% x Congo (Ace) 25% x S.A. Kwazulu (World of Seeds) 25%

The Crawling Eye - Quaze 50% x Zamaldelica (Ace) 50%

The Third Eye - Quaze 50% x Sweet Seeds (Cream Caramel CBD) 50%

The Hypnotic Eye - Quaze 50% x OG Lemon Candy (Philosopher Seeds) 50%

The Electric Eye - Quaze 50% × Malawi (Ace) 50%

The Flying Eye of Von Dutch - Quaze 50% X Pamplemousse (BC Bud Depot) 50%

All the of the ones that only have 50x50% I’ve only grown out 3-4 of each cross so there are probably phenos I haven’t seen yet.

I’ve been at this for almost five years. Damn, time flies!

I was gonna say it looked like core cut.
@JonnyChicago , Dam son
That Animal mints x looks amazing!
Any more beans left?

Plenty.... :) Have tested only 10 seeds of the Mints BX. And still not shown the best plant yet.

Seen that you opened a thread about Original Diesel.
The Haze Mints is a little dieselish due to its pedigree. The golden phenos at least. And I have crossed it to my NL25 clone, that is definitively diselish and must be related to Diesel I am sure. May be I should search some testers for this stuff, but need to ask Gypsy the permission first.

Crossed the Haze Mints also to my pink Panama and pink Pan-o-haze mothers, of course. Etc...

The NL#25 mother...

Pics of anything?
This reads like a menu in an advertisement Passenger . . .
If you are selling seeds . . . should you make some sort of thread for that?

I got way too deep into growing and didn’t take many pictures.

I got a few local growers to help me, but life, money and Covid kind of messed that up.

I’m still just experimenting and looking for some new local growers to work with so I can lock down some of the genetics on the 50%x50% hybrids. The Quaze X Durban is pretty solid because both parents were super stable. I tried not to mess with too many polyhybrids, but I couldn’t resist with some of them.

I now know to get as many photos as possible, which I’m asking everyone who grows any of my stuff to take. I have a website that I started just so I could go to some conventions and hand out cards, maybe get a job at one of the million greenhouses popping up in nearby Massachusetts. I’m not selling anything, and I can’t mention the website here because of spam rules, which I respect. I’m just a hobbyist at this point. A hobbyist who doesn’t currently have the money to hobby as hard as I’d like to! 🤘

LOVE IT!
HOBBY HARD!!!!
:tiphat:

OK, so no pics.
Can you tell us something about your Quaze?
Where/when you got it, how it grows, what the taste/effects are?

Most people have no experience with Quaze.
Seed finder tells us Quaze is aka Dr Grinspoon from Barney's Farm.
Barney's Farm has a horrible rep for stealing breeders work and renaming the seed form of it when they sell it as their own work.

The "pearls on string" flower expression that Grinspoon is famous for is accessible in certain selected lines of Seedsman oHaze making the rounds these days.
Most growers aren't willing to pay the price in time and yield for the qualities of effect that the smoke delivers. At least, not more than once :)
Makes sense that it would be worked into hybrids to try and overcome those undesirable growth traits.
What was your experience with it that impressed you enough to make it such a big part of your breeding?

I'm assuming that you used it as a male since it was crossed with so many other strains?
Easier to take pollen from one plant and apply it to many females than to deal with many males all trying to dust the girls at the same time.
You understand that pedigree listings should always put the females first and the male last. That's why I bring this up . . .
Your pedigree listing may have the parents reversed/backwards.

Those percentage numbers you are inserting into everything is confusing as hell and unnecessary.
You don't need to say "50/50" when you are listing a cross of (plant 1 x plant 2).

For example, this line of yours is listed:
The Eye of Cthulhu Prophecy - Quaze 50% x (Durban Poison (Sensi Seeds) 25% × Cinderella 99 (B.Grimm) 25%)
and could be written as:
The Eye of Cthulhu Prophecy - Quaze x (Durban Poison × Cinderella 99)

No need to list the breeder of famous common lines unless you are calling out a significantly unique provenance.

Are you saying that you used original Bros Grimm C99 that you purchased yourself or just saying that Grimm made C99? If they were originals, you probably want to list the year the seeds were released.
Most of the old Grimm work used in lines today came through multiple breeders who preserved the lines after Grimm went dark. Thus, calling out Grimm on a line everyone knows suggests they are original from Grimm.
Anything listing Sensi as the source should also list the year as their seed quality has varied WILDLY in different periods of their history.

If you are not gonna make a point about those origin details, the pedigrees would be much easier to read without what you ARE including.
By all means though, that kind of detail is stuff you want in your own notes.

Anyway, a bunch of unrequested feedback and a few questions. Hope you take it in the spirit intended.
Cheers!
