week 9 update on the FB x GB. the plant is still growing and foxtailing but seems at least 2-3 weeks away from finishing...if not longer. I think the extra rich soil i transplanted into has pushed harvest out a bit for sure. I check the trichomes and still mostly clear with some cloudy heads. I have a clone plant I'm thinking of flipping just to see if I can grow it better and to compare tastes of the two. anyhow, here she is:

What an excellent cross that turned out to be.
I hope so @bsgospel. I have a clone I'm thinking of flipping just to see if will behave the same. Quick finger hash from unsuspecting sugar leaf reveals: sweet red wine, mild solvent with a citric type smell that leans towards lime. I think its more BB in composition but we shall see. I will say she has nice flowering tops.

update on the fbxgb going on 12 weeks and trichs are cloudy with some clear head still visible and a few amber heads here and there...another week maybe and I'll probably chop. Every time I deep water she throws some new growth but thats due to the overly rich soil I inadvertently up potted her into. I did flip a clone and that plant did have a nice stretch and I made sure it has a leaner soil mix. I think the clone will probably be done sooner than the 13 weeks this seed plant will take to finish. here she is...

Nepalese Temple x BH

The seedlings are getting used to the leds and are growing. 3 of the 4 plants are showing a leaf mutation. I remember @Kalbhairav mention that his run of the NT also had some mutations so maybe just a trait of the Nepalese which is hasn't been hybridized or worked as far as I know...if I'm wrong someone please correct me. I believe they are also taller plants that will stretch so I should plan to train these into little bushes on the 1st run and if I find something I like grow them bigger going forward...

Hey Jahaze,
Yep, mutation’s are normal with anything that has the NT mother as part of its makeup. I think the NT x Jack is a little more free from showing them though. I didn’t have any of the mutants pull through for me, only the non-muti plant made it. Was a long time ago when I grew it outdoors.. Hope yours start showing regular growth and price to be stunning. See how they go

Oh and the FB x HM looks great. I’m thinking a cloud surfer type high with that one. Can’t wait to hear how she turns out.

Oh - that looks a lot like what some of the blue lines can do! If you have room to let them do their thing, you might find that they start throwing normal branches. It'd be fun to see what clones of those branches did.

hey kal and zif thanks for popping in with the nepalese info. yeah I think I will let them grow out a bit to sex and then clone them, root them and flip them early. I checked on them today and they are still alive so thats a good sign. I while back I saw the nepalese temple x SS but don't know if they ever went on sale or of it was stuff Chimera had but never released. That could have been fun to explore.

fighting buddha x guerrero-berry clone of previous posted plant. this copy was allowed to grow in a bigger container with a milder soil mix and the plant responded by stretching like I initially wanted and node distance is much better than before. I pruned the sides to encourage longer colas and the plant put out multiple longer shoots...I think it read my mind. If she produces flowers like the seed plant it should produce nice spears on the longer branches. The smells on the 1st plant are spiced limes with a sweet mild fuel-like grape and an earthy background. here is the clone

The Nepalese Temple x SS were never released. In fact all of the NT lines came in smaller batches if I remember right.

If someone was desperate to try them out, I might be able to source a few seeds 😉

couple of updates on chimera pollen chucks. The fighting buddha x guerrero-berry clone at week 4. The seed mom was photosensitive quickly changing over to flower mode and the clone is no different. The plant is at 4 weeks and she's flowering rapidly. This time however she did stretch reinforcing my notion that the up pot of the seed mom in the overly nutrient rich soil shocked her a bit. Here with the clone I stayed lean and she seemed to like it better.

Here is another melange of chimera stock. This is a simply irresistible x congo/blockhead male. I have been playing around with this cross having grown a couple seeds so far all have been very good. This one has a strong lemon scent with a gasy/naphtha solvent smell that leaves me functional but wrecked at the same time. I kept it because it has a soaring head high that can be clear at lower doses but is stupifing the more I smoke. Best of all is the strong spiced incense smell she leaves behind. The smell clings to everything it touches and lasts and lasts....fabreeze will not help you here at all. She's euphoric, stinky, overwhelmingly powerful...I love it.

Lastly, the nepalese temple x bh. So I may be able to pull two plants of the four. #1 looks normal and #2 has some normal growth with some mutations on a couple leaves but #3,#4 looks like I went over them with my car. Just a mangled mess with no redeeming qualities at the moment. I have been hoping for at least one decent branch so I can clone and root but....yeah they may be headed to the compost pile.

I wonder if they might, still, find their way out of it with a jolt? Double the soil volume, for example, and see if that kicks them into normal growth?

Your hybrids sure look and sound nice!

Lets see. I pulled out the mutated plants and they all had a small root network compared to the normal looking plant. I mixed some fresh compost and ewc and put into the bottom and top dressed with same. I also clipped the tops at the nearest node to encourage some side growth...hopefully with something viable.

Nice! If that doesn't do it, can't imagine that anything would. So few have given the NT hybrids a good look - I hope they're the kind that will revert to normal! =)

This chosen Dolce pheno from a 10 pack packs bubblebluepine flavors and even up effects in a stretchy medium yielding package. I used pot size restrictions to try to control the 3-4x growth in early flower, then up potted for the last 2/3 of the cycle. It seems to have worked and yields appear improved, with about 2x growth. Thank you, Chimera and DJ!
