ideas for smoke room

i kinda skipped to the end but...
my gf and i are moving into a condo this week, it is a loft and the living room upstairs is 13x9 so we are gonna put a couch, a recliner+automan and our computer desks + tv and enertainmetn system, and our bookshelves....
down stairs behind our couch and stuff we will have the pool table
right infront of the wetbar.
we got some really cool decorations, check target for some modern furniture w/ chrome legs... and slide in ottomans.... pretty badass stuff, we are putting the red one upstairs.

Saw this at a buddies place a long time ago and always loved the idea. It looked awesome!
He took huge white sheets and tacked them to the ceiling at square points. So it made like 3 square foot billowing sections. the center of the squares hung down a lot.
Flush with the ceiling and above the hanging squares he placed really high quality christmas lights. They migh have been LEDs? They had all these programmable settings but what I liked best was the fades from colors to colors. Beautiful deep bright blue fading into sublime purple and so on.
The key was that he hung the sheets such that you didn't actaully see the points of light of the christmas lights. So you had this effect like slow color changing clouds or something.
It made an awesome effect for little cost. This was back when mdma was king and i fell in love with those sheets for chiling out. lol.

are you kidding a trip to ross tjmax homedepot and a fabric store. Learn to budget shop. You can find so much cheap shit out there. Oh and thrift stores. Always good for non fabric furniture. Wood and such. YOu can find the craziest stuff for hella cheap. get stoned and explore.

yea but that means once the futon is in there, its always gunna be in there (no matter where it goes, if you get what im sayin). that not necessarily true with couches in my experiences...

Put up some sweet weed related posters and definitely buy a hookah and put it in the middle of the room. My dream room would have tons of couches, bean bags and comfortable chairs with leg rests in a circle with a huge 2 hosed hookah in the center.
We've come a long way since the lava lamp.
