Actually, I believe it does belong here, the pic was taken by Esbe and was also entered into the macro contest a while back, but didnt make it to the final: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=43415 (1st nomination)

I would definitely say it belongs here. The Pic of the Month competition isn't about entering the sweetest bigg-ass cola with the most trichs (there are way too many of those as it is, a way too many kids voting on them), it is about choosing the best PICTURE of the month, which should concider photographic skills, composition, originality of the motive, etc.

This pic has an original approach, it is a beautiful picture, and anybody can see it's ice, so it's no big deal.

Lol, ironically, Toka, I was torn between picking TML's & Nspecta's :biglaugh:
It'll be interesting to see if either makes it into the finals!

I guess my point is that you see 80% ice and about 20% actual bud is why I wouldn't consider it for pic of the month, but thats not for me to judge! After all it's photo of the month not bud of the month right? I do like the pic and I respect your opinion too! All in fun! :dueling:

I have 2 things to say
1) WOW on the pics so far, very unique in all the virieties

2) I ultimately thought that the ice on the ESBES bud were trichomes for 2 reasons. I thought that the trichs could have grown abnormally maybe caused by excessive and/or various geneticed strains or possible inbreading or whatever.....and because i have seen some pretty abnormal and huge trichs before.

I still have no idea why anyone would freeze their buds like that, especially cause it looks to be still growing, i thought everyone stayed away from ice and cold. WHY IS THERE ICE IN HIS BUDS. Maybe a beneficial technique?

if i could vote for spmethin else it would be between
SSSDH (pic with the bubble letters and golden hairs) and the sugar shack
i'm glad i voted erly so i didnt get caught in an hours worth of drool

Im pretty sure that the plant in the pic was grown in the polish outdoors (I think poland?) which is why the frost is there. Im pretty sure it wasnt intentiuonal.

BTW, I like the pic, I think it may have actually been nominated a few months back as well.
