LIVE ROOTS in my FF OCEAN FOREST BAG!!! WTF!?!?!

OMG you guys...

my mint seeds just germinated..and I was going to plant them into peat pellets and put em in their new pots with ocean forest soil...and as i'm pouring the soil out....a big bunch of roots comes out......WTF!?!?! these were growing right in my bag of soil!!!

I've put it in the pot in hopes that it grows...so i can see what it is...

Looks like its all originating from some sort of black bean thing....liek the size of a pencil eraser...

it'd be a interesting thing to do to a MJ plant...make it grow shittons of roots before you let it pop surface.....

It most likely came from the compost they use. I have stopped using OF and making my own compost and additives. all that commerical bullshit they use. Its good people are recycling waste now but It needs to be done properly. That been came off some ones plate, to the trash can and then to the commerical composting company and then to your bag of OF.

You guys should come to Organic soil.....we have lots of solutions for this type of thing. Like making our own compost and worm castings. Not to mention all of the various soil mixtures made from scratch.

I've managed to find ferns in the planting mix, ocean forrest, and the most recent happy frog! They don't hurt anything, just yank em out. I planted mine and they are growing great! Free plants

FoxFarm soils are great vonforne...nothing wrong with finding a rogue seed every once in a while.

I have used all of the FF line. I rely on the Light Warrior for the Mike in my mixture. I believe I have posted in the OFC a great OF mixture. I just like to make my own.

Lots of people make their own soils...good for them. There are just as many that don't want the hassle/chance for mixing errors/pain in the ass, dusty mess that comes with mixing your own soils. Sometimes I feel like mixing my own soil, sometimes I don't. I am glad Ocean Forrest is around for those times I don't, because it is a FANTASTIC soil.

You must live east of the mississippi...shipping charges makes up alot of Ocean Forrest's price. Out in northern california Ocean Forrest retails from around $10 per bag.
