high calyx to leaf ratio, quick finish & stinky; too much to ask for?

after a break from growing due to security concern i'm back. can't take any more of the poor weed that i've had to buy! well i lost my mother plant due to the same security issue and now require some new seeds.

i am really pissed that i lost my mother plant as it ticked all the boxes i listed in the title. not sure what the strain was i was given it a while back by a friend i lost contact with.

enough of my misfortune, i have ak47 seeds and will try these. just need something else to keep them company. there are just too many strains to choose from.

i need a strain that is fairly stable and produces good yields of good smoke.

any suggestions guys?

high calyx to leaf ratio, quick finish & stinky as the title suggests, lol.

i was looking at princess diesel before my misfortune. she seemed to tick alot of my pre-req's. alas she has since been snapped up by the legion of rez gene fanatics.

so, i would like something that is,

  • predominantly indica with a good lick of sativa for stretch.
  • finishes under 3ft & strecthes to 3x veg height maximum
  • has a good layer of trichomes.
  • with a good mix of head and body high.
  • i also want it to bloom for 60 days idealistically.

for smells 'dank' slight ripe fruit undertones would nail it in a nutshell. we all have our own opinion on what 'dank' but it usually means the same thing good weed! for taste i am thinking the same as smell THC hashy with fruity undetones.

that pretty much sums up my requirements. any ideas?

those strains look alright, not sure about the c-4 doesn't have any pictures, but i hear chimera is a class act.

head you have no seeds listed on seedbay at the minute. i am going to look in your forum for reports on your recommendations,

any more suggestions ic?

edit~ ok so i see chimera also has a help desk... looks like a late night of research for me :p

Theres alot of hybrids that would fit your bill, it's really on your personal preference. Try some hybrids, and see what you like. But, from what i've grown...pot of gold would fit your bill very nicely. Infact it's one of my favorite smokes. The yield of very good, the potency is good but not too little or too much, the resin production is good to very good, the taste and smell are very fruity and perfumy, the high is very balanced mix with both body and head feelings. It's about 62.5% indica/37.5% sativa. I haven't tried many strains that compare to it, lavender is very similar in the high, taste, resin production, potency, etc. but the yield is very low, and it's hard to find the good pheno (the purple one). Blockhead would also fit the bill well for you, i have not tried it though but am growing it ATM, from what i've heard it's supposed to be an awesome all around strain.

id try to find some super haze because the calyxes on that were supper big, and i would also recommended jucey furte, grate taste amazing calyx

No haze will fit the 60 day bloom time requested. Perhaps a haze hybrid, such as S.A.G.E or Mother's Finest.

Bubblegum - Serious
Finishes pretty quick, easy to trim, tastes damn good, more pine fruit odor than stink though, yields good, stable.

hello SweetIndica2, i have had been recommended pog previously on more than one occasion. therfore i will put that as my front runner of suggestion so far. thanks for the descriptive post, seems like it meets most requirements. i also hear good things about blockhead and would be interested to hear how that turns out for you.

hello tubby, do you mean super silver haze? if i had the 10 week pheno in clone form i would be happy to wait an extra week, but as rosy cheeks so graciously points out..... bloom time is a tad long for me. thanks for the suggestion :/

dan woody obviously you haven't read my first post hahaha. i have ak47 seeds right now, i'm looking for something else. but your suggestion raises a question, how close to my pre-req's is ak47? never though about that. guess i'll end up keeping the one i like best anyway.

hello Limeygreen, i have heard that the blueberry available in seed form now is not really all that. the trueblueberry sounds good though, only thing is doesn't seem to yield well.

You should, not many people grow Bubblegum anymore. The high is nice too -very relaxing and euphoric with a little head. I think the high is similar to blue strains, but a little stronger.
