I say chaps, jolly hot one today wasn't it. We don't want much more of that indoors.
I do like canopy temps read by hand, but know 34 is about as hot as I like, and that 34 is higher than most would say. There is a chart somewhere isn't there? I can't seem to find it though. Would somebody be a chum and share it for us?
If 34c is infact slowing growth by 50% compared to a more acceptable 28c, then I guess I should lower my 6s down to 400 each. Hoping to get a temperature drop to where a 400 is doing better than just murdering them under a 600.
Nobody want's cooked weed. The fertigation water is pulled through them by excessive evaporation, introducing food they can't do anything with. While the cooking buds may loose potency as quick as they put it on. Many folks drop the light and temp for the last two weeks to improve the resin, and this is going to totally the opposite direction. Frankly, I can't smoke many summer crops, as I smoke neat, and the temperatures ruin it.
Perhaps we can talk some about lower light levels, to aid temperature, without hindering growth from using too little. For instance, if 34 is half as good as 28, and dropping half my light could get me back to 28, I would. As if half the light meant still loosing half the yield, it would still be a yield of 28c bud, not 34c. I could smoke it..
