My rig is nothing compared to what y’all have been showing: the guitars I no longer have are more impressive than the ones I *do* have...after a fashion.

My baby is a MIM Tele w/ OV pups and an old-style three-barrel bridge (did the mods myself), with an Epi Valve Special amp (no-name tubes swapped out for NOS, no-name speaker replaced w/ Jensen) and a Vox VT15.

I also have a Washburn D-10 (bubinga) acoustic. Long ago, I had an original Gibson Melody Maker, a Martin D35, and a first-edition Classic Vibe ‘60s Strat....

Mostly though, I’m a drummer, but I like to sing, which is tough for me while I’m drumming.

Here's one I built for a friend. She's been gone for years, but needed some electronics replaced, so I have her for a few weeks. Flamed Redwood, carbon fiber reinforced poplar neck, (unobtainium) Brazilian Rosewood 24 fret CR fingerboard with bamboo fret markers, PU rings and knob 'dots' (also TR cover, but the friend lost that part, grrr). 5 way switch with custom split coil wiring. The CF reinforced poplar neck sustains for weeks and has no dead spots at all. Action is very low and plays like buttah. Players love it.

I see someign very Similar every year at our local jazz fest, played by a ponytailed musician I find quite appealing .....in fact I usually only gravitate to his church street tent! He actually played inca roads for me when I requested it a few jazz fests ago......I've loved him ever since! Grew up playing dads acoustic ovation........got a Jackson charvel for my 16 birthday with a Marshall amp, played it LITERALLy until I fingers bleed and the Floyd rose tremolo was (bent lol) I used to think I was a weird concoction of Steve vai, Jane e lee, and satriani......hey I admit I've had delusions!

I want this SG .......the sound frank has with this particular group of musicians is awe inspiring to a young man like me! Ruth is prob the best percussionist I've ever heard! As for Napoleon ..........he is by far the best singer frank has ever had on stage!

Amazing tune, Ruth Underwood rocks! Napoleon may be the best singer Zappa ever had, agreed, but I'm still a huge Beefheart fan. What a group, George Duke is killing!

Flame Boy (Agile Interceptor)

Blueberry Grand Concert Cutaway- Dragon Motif
All of the dragon designs are etched into the wood,
and then stained scrimshaw style. Each takes about
3 months to complete.

The red flames wrap around the back side of the neck and are lightly etched into the wood on the backside of the neck. These flames are at the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, and 12th frets and they allow one to feel where one is at on the neck without looking. Kind of like braille markers for the blind. He has a patent pending for this idea.

Carvin SBC6 - Black Limba
This guitar was used to highlight a new tone wood
(to them) that made it's debut at the 2014 NAMM show.

All of my guitars are in cases, except 3 or 4 I keep
out in guitar stands at the ready.
L to R Ibby JS 2400, Ibby J Custom RG3 (my fave),
Agile semi custom AL-3xxx, Fender Urge bass.

My guitars are vintage, i love 70's and 80's guitars, got an old Ibanez Roadstar from 84' and a truly vintage Yamaha SG from 78', all original.

I call them delicate doom machines as i mostly enjoy playing psychedelic doom stuff. I also play bass guitar and use an Epi Thunderbird tuned low. My amps work best when properly loud.

I have a bunch of cheap guitars, a charvel acoustic, a peavey raptor...a harmony acoustic, an old silvertone bobkat, and a Takamine f400 12 string
The 63 bobkat is my favorite, it has the goldfoil pickups and sounds freaking amazing.

Nice Dove. I had a '70 Gibson Hummingbird I wish I had never sold.

It was a wonderful acoustic that had a very full tone with plenty of mids and lows.
I needed money for a 12 string Martin at the time I sold it. I still have the Martin.

I have a 50 year old Lyle, Japanese Gibson hummingbird knockoff played in church masses when I was in high school, an acoustic electric Takamine EG530SSC. The electrics are a Fender stratocaster(Mexican because it was cheaper by a lot) and a Sammick Les Paul knockoff because I'm not good enough to drop $3000 to $4000 for an actual Gibson Les Paul. I just a thrifty love the old school models that have been around for a long time, like me.

I have 5 Gibsons. A 68 custom SG. An '86 SG with a factory installed Kahler,
a 60's tribute Goldtop, and 2 Les Paul Axcess models.



$2400 feebay score on right

$3400 feebay score. I wasn't going to buy this one, but the top was

irresistible and I was working a ton of overtime when I bought it. It

looks great but I've had a hard time bonding with this one.
