I THINK JJNYC made the doubledog but for the life of me I can't remember what he crossed with the chemdog.

You know now I'm confused

OK I'll tell you what I think I know. Pbud sent Chemdog the lb. In which Chemdog and JB found the 12 seeds. They poped one seed and loved the result so much that they didn't pop any more of the beans. That was Chemdawg 91'. JB headed to Cali and he took his Chem 91 cut with him. Rumor has it that this cut is the momma of all cali Kushes. That I don't know.OK

Chemdog stayed east and was very happy with his 91 cut. Some how he lost his 91 cut and decided to pop more of the seeds. Thus Chemdawg Sister and Chemdawg d were born. Chemdog and JB hooked up again last summer and Chemdog got his 91 cut back again. He also gave JB some of the original Seeds. That is how the Chemdawgs 06 were born. With the #4 supposely the best of them.

The other's are crosses of the Chemdawg, Giesel is Chemdawg x Mass Super Skunk, Chemhaze is Chemdawg x Sensi's nl/haze, Super Snow Dawg is (Humbolt Snow x Super Skunk) X Chemdawg. JB had a Double dawg variant. I don't know how he made that. Whew!!!


Sour Diesel was supposely a (Mass Super Skunk X Dnl) x Chemdawg. The Mass Sk x dnl hermied. And one thing that I totally believe that Diesel and Sour Diesel are two totally differant strains. Don't get them mixed up in your head. I'm done...................................

Actually J.B. and Pbud sent the lb to chemdog. We met him(for the first time) at the 91 Deer Creek, Indiana Dead Show and sold him an once of the chem or dog. We kept in touch and jb sent him a lb of the chemdog when we got back home to colorado. Chemdog went home to mass. Chemdog found the twelve seeds. He deserves most of the credit! He saved them all these years. I remember when we sent that lb to chemdog everyone in our little ski town was pissed all that lucious nug was going east. I am glad it did because chemdog did some amazing things with it. After sixteen years chemdog and jb hooked up on overgrow somehow and chem sent him 4 of the original 12 and jb has them up and running. Pretty cool story. Like I said the chem or dog bud was only around colorado for a couple of months. But to this day still the sickest. That's why I think the chemdog D is the closest to that I've seen.

Hey Pbud, so did you guys also grow back in the day? And where did the lb. to send chemdog? It originated in a ski town in Colorado?

Its all good man, it is a great story. So chemdog is the breeder of all the crosses smokeypufmaster mentioned? They all look very good and of an elite quality.

Do you know anything about the cali kushs or is it OG Kush. Do you know if jb did indeed use the 91 cut for the cali kushs? btw what does OG stand for?

I think the dog came from somwhere in delta county colorado. We lived in crested butte a small ski town. Friends grew m39 and a hash plant strain that rivals the chemdogs. We mostly smoked pbud which was an outdoor strain grown nearby. And skied pow pow.

That is cool. I have never been to Colorodo, seen some pics and it is GOD's beauty. Probably good weather and soil for growin bud.

Pbud wuz up man. U still here in Co. Back in the early 90's in 303 we used to get this dank called The Chemical, it was $560 a zip cuz of all the middle men. But this was the most potent dank me and all my peeps have seen 2 date. It was never dried all the way so we had 2 cure it ourselves and loose major weight but it was all worth it. We renamed it Bird Feed cuz we got it from a guy named Bird. Anyway it vanished and when SD & NYCD & Kush's started popin up round here I swore it was the closest thing weve seen to the Bird Feed. Weve been wonderin if our Bird Feed & the Chemdog r the same strain?

Yea we got it in crested butte, co. We paid a lot less than that and it was pretty cured. Could be the same stuff. We were getting it in the sring and summer of 91. It came from some dude in delta county. it had the name dogbud and we changed it to chemweed. When i smoked the chemdog/diesel for the first time my mind went straight back to the chemweed we got in 91 i knew it was the same stuff and it only took 4 years to prove it.

hey Pbud, man i wish you could remember the dude in Delta, theres a older line here as well called Redlands, grown in and around Redlands mesa in between paonia and delta. smokes ok, nice big buds.

ive asked quite a few of the old heads around paonia about Pbud and dogbud, they all remember the Pbud of course, but no mention of dogbud. as far as i can tell the Paonia purple paralyzer is no more here, and noone seems to have held on to any seed, if they ever found any as the guy was pretty paranoid someone would get hold of seed from his line.

around 12 years ago this country got hit hard, and lots of farms ranches went to the govt. i think that was the demise of Pbud. i read chem ran some from you. did ya hang on to um, or come across um recent.

yeah im with you there, the Dog may have been nothin other then the Pbud. did Chem happen to say if he thought it might be close to chemdog?

i know sometimes the Pbud was purp and others would be green. never did get abunch, was always a 1/4 whenever it was around. like ya said earlier, most was moved outta the valley. shit Delta county is the poorest freakin county in CO.

be nice to see some Pbud back around here were she was top dog in her day. you still around the country?

The dog and pbud were TOTALLY different. Pbud was outdoor and the dog was indoor. They looked and smelled completly different. Yeah a lot of the P was sent east and to california but enough was around c.b. in the mid to late 80's that we had plenty then my pals started going indoor (m39 and hashplant) and we lost touch with the "P". Seen any out there recently?
