Yeah I've been itching to do something verticle for awhile..... I might soon have a venue to experiment with said techinique! If only for the veg time!
Yeah, digi's are here to stay!! The digis are CMEMORYER @ my store then magnetic one's are!!?? Bad Press? I know the first "generation" one's were a bit dodgy, but there on like ver. 5.0 now..
I dunno really what "amaretto" tastes like, but mostly sugar and that slight bit of cronicy taste like you get with super buttery ganja food...

Just here catching upon your thread, looking great.
vertical is the shit....
all that talk about interference back at OG turned me off...and when I first looked into it I don't remember seeing any noteworthy warranties....but that obviously has changed...yea my dro shop guy has me convinced...but I gotta get some work outta these mag's and I am gonna go that route....plus they're so damn quiet!! That humming noise from mine makes me paranoid as hell sometimes....especially after a c99 harvest

Actually the, "I just love...." part was directed to the veggin' plant with sunshine beaming through it, this one above was to illustrate the difference between 600's and 1000w's... That was actually the FIRST time I ever grew with a 1000w. It was loned to me..

Any one ever had magnetic ballasts just FAIL on them?

I haven't had 4 go at once, but from what I understand the capacitor inside is usually what fails. I met someone locally who keeps spare capacitors for his mag ballasts and repairs them himself, claims it takes 20 minutes. And nice timelapse video - thx for posting!

Haven't had any interference problems with my digi ballast either, and it stays way cool - it's in the cab and the temp barely increased compared to the mag ballast outside.
