Retired Lt. General McInerney

He's got a great track record. Definitely an honest and trustworthy source;

"Between January 1, 2002, and April 20, 2008, Mcinerney appeared 144 times on Fox TV.[3]

McInerney was a staunch advocate for the Iraq War.[4] In 2002, he said a military campaign against Iraq, would be "shorter" than the 42 days it took to complete the Persian Gulf War in 1991, and further, "It is going to be absolutely awesome, and that's why this war, if we do it properly, will go very quick, and we'll have less civilian casualties than we did last time."[5]

In 2004, he claimed without evidence that with the aid of a Russian Special Forces team with GRU, Saddam had transported weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) to Syria and the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon for safekeeping.[6] Although McInerney said they had been moved to three places in Syria and one in Lebanon, the final report of the Iraq Survey Group, by Charles A. Duelfer, special adviser on Iraqi weapons to the C.I.A., concluded that any stockpiles had been destroyed long before the war and that transfers to Syria were "unlikely."[7]

In 2006, McInerney advocated for regime change via military action against Iran and North Korea.[8]

General McInerney has been a member of the Boards of Directors of military contractors, including Alloy Surfaces Company, Kilgore Flares Co, Nortel Government Solutions Inc. Pan American International Academy (Flight Simulators), Agusta Westland NA, and Crescent Partnerships.[9]

In 2008, it was revealed that McInerney received email communications from the Pentagon with talking points that he should use to defend the Bush administration in his TV appearances and columns.[10][11]

In 2010, McInerney provided his support against the court martial of fellow birther Terrence Lakin, who refused to deploy to Afghanistan due to his suspicion of President Barack Obama's birthplace.[12]

On September 6, 2016, McInerney was 1 of 88 retired generals and admirals who endorsed the Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump.[13]

On September 15, 2020, McInerney was 1 of 235 retired generals and admirals who endorsed President Trump's re-election for president.[14]"

"McInerney has called President Obama a treasonous leader who is "aiding and abetting the enemy."[15] McInerney also has said there were "widespread and legitimate concerns that the President [Obama] is constitutionally ineligible to hold office."[16]

In 2010, McInerney called for strip-searching all Muslim men between the ages of 18 to 28 at airports.[17][18]

In 2015, as a Fox News contributor and a member of the Iran Policy Committee, Mcinerney was noted for suggesting on Fox News that terrorists could have flown the disappeared Malaysia Airlines 370 to Pakistan.[19]

In a May 2018 interview with Charles Payne on Fox News, McInerney asserted that torture had "worked on" John McCain and "That's why they call him 'Songbird John,"[20][21][22] referencing an unverified claim made against McCain during the Republican primary in South Carolina in 2000.[21][22] Payne later apologized to McCain and his family for the remark.[22][23] Afterward, Fox News announced that McInerney would never appear on Fox News or Fox Business again.[24]"

Lyrics from another time for now.

Well, come on generals, let's move fast;
Your big chance has come at last.
Now you can go out and get those reds
'Cause the only good commie is the one that's dead
And you know that peace can only be won
When we've blown 'em all to kingdom come.

Army Hits Back Against False Claim that Soldiers Died in CIA Op to Nab Election Servers

A retired Air Force three-star general reignited baseless conspiratorial claims about U.S. troops' involvement in clandestine missions in the wake of the presidential election -- claims an Army official said are 100% false.

No Special Forces soldiers were killed while seizing computer servers in Germany as part of a CIA operation after the presidential election. There was, in fact, no mission of the sort.

And members of the 305th Military Intelligence Battalion are not "the Kraken" that an attorney for President Donald Trump said last month she'd be unleashing. The unit is not involved in any post-election missions supporting the White House -- a move that would be highly unlikely considering it's an entry-level training battalion where new soldiers who haven't yet picked up their military occupational specialty are assigned.

"The allegations are false," an Army official told Military.com.

Retired Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney made the claims last weekend on a show hosted by Brannon Howse on the far-right WVW Broadcast Network, which streamed the discussion on YouTube. The claims quickly spread on social media, with users tying the retired general's comments to unsubstantiated allegations of fraud during November's presidential election.

WVW Broadcast Network did not respond to requests for comment from McInerney or Howse. The network also did not respond to questions about whether it would issue a correction about the claims made about soldiers dying in Germany or picking up missions for the CIA and White House.

This isn't the first time McInerney's comments have drawn criticism. The former Fox News contributor was banned from the network in 2018 after saying torture worked on the late Sen. John McCain, who was a prisoner of war in Vietnam. Years earlier, McInerney pushed false claims that former President Barack Obama was not a U.S. citizen and said all Muslim men should be strip-searched at airports.

McInerney, who served as the Air Force's assistant vice chief of staff in the 1990s, told Howse he'd heard reports that U.S. soldiers were killed in a CIA-led operation to retrieve ballot servers in Frankfurt, Germany -- all of which the Army disputes as false information. He also said the 305th Military Intelligence Battalion was nicknamed "the Kraken," tying it to a viral hashtag that spread on social media following a Fox News interview with Sidney Powell, who served as a lawyer for retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn.

Without providing proof, Powell said in the interview that there was evidence of widespread voter fraud that could overturn the results of the election, which was called for Vice President Joe Biden. She added that she "was going to release the Kraken," a phrase from the 1981 movie "The Clash of the Titans."

As The New York Times reported, the line has since become a way to "signal an election fraud conspiracy on social media." McInerney threw gasoline on that claim by saying the 305th Military Intelligence Battalion was nicknamed "the Kraken," leading to new conspiracies the Powell was referencing the unit during her remarks and the soldiers are now involved in a secret mission.

The Army official said that allegation is again false. The entry-level training intel battalion is made up of Army privates straight out of basic training who are still training for their first military jobs.

Interesting lecture regarding ‘honest’ Abe and his ‘manipulation’ of the constitution. Only thing different today is the legal precedent has already been set. Lol and to think slavery was ended by a republican still has liberals shook

So you mock "honest" Abe Lincoln for "manipulation" of the constitution over slavery? Then you pat Lincoln and the GOP on the back for freeing the slaves?

Got it. Makes total sense.

Is this another "owning the libs" post?

Correct. Liberalism is a political and moral philosophy based on liberty, consent of the governed and equality before the law. Key word being BEFORE. ‘Liberals’ of today believe law is king and boot leather is nutritious.

The definition of liberal didn't change. The liberals became illiberal, thus no longer being liberals.

unbridled capitalism usually leads to 1 or 2% of the population destroying the environment the other 98 or 99% have to live in, which ALSO leads to many deaths. there ARE no innocent systems.

Yet in many places in communist China people have to wear masks due to high levels of pollution while the children are hard at work.

yup, seen those pictures too. no justification for it. i suspect that China, despite being technologically capable of getting to the moon & beyond, is still to a large degree a second-world economic engine much as the US was when WE had child labor & little to no environmental protections. if you are trying to start an argument with me, you'll have to work harder than that, lol...:)
