The gist of what he was trying to say is extremely easy to understand. Quit being so anal. You don't have to subscribe to a religion to BE A GOOD PERSON. One does not have to practice a religion in order to be a decent human being. That was the gist and meaning of his comment. You know it too...and yet people are attempting to take apart what he said verbatim and prove it wrong on semantics.

... For me it is the most "sophisticated" way ... but not the only one.
It can also be achieved by making him believe that everything he does and thinks is WRONG (or that even himself as an individual is essentially BAD).
Or also by simple dehumanization of his entire environment (whether he is a prisoner of the Nazi, Soviet, Chinese, Francoist, Pinochetist, ISIS or US camps in Guantanamo ...
But also for growing up and living in a dehumanized society (neighborhood or country) ...)

And the 'semi' nature of our behaviour sees us able to reason anything away ... and categorise it ... give it names and talk about ideas as if ideas are real, are objects to play with and exchange ... when all the time those ideas are simply recycled from the last time we talked about them.
So nothing changes!

Temperament in canine slang is (along with physical and health) the most sought after in the world of the working dog and has nothing to do with malice: in the Anglo-Saxon canine world it is called "drive".
It is more like tenacity and determination.
Logically, the temperament of a working dog can be very difficult to manage for the typical pet dog owner and can turn into a nightmare; but that is a separate issue...
I also don't think that in humans temperament is synonymous with "bad" or "lack of empathy", but more with "passion".

Yes, there are 'bad' dogs, it's called "temperament" and cannot be trained out of the dog. Temperament is passed through genetics. Good breeders know this and will euthanize an animal that displays these traits.
In humans; "evil" is basically "temperament" which equates to lacking empathy. Those folks (think serial killers) should also be euthanized perhaps?

* Didn't manage to be with Zack for his last 2 and a half years of life - due to being incapacitated due to being incarcerated in some real shitty jail - and he died a couple of weeks before I was finally allowed to deport in 2016 - while I was detained - other prisoners wives/GF's were allowed to visit with their dogs (small toy dogs) - so I asked the Warden if Zack could visit - and he wasn't too keen on the idea due to Zack's size - so it was a no-go - He was a great dog - a sentinel being - trained on the beach and in the sea - and mostly had a good life - as good as I could make it for him and his sister - and all the other dogs -

the Swiss banks are not the Swiss people. also all banking secrecy has been abolished a long time ago. much harder to launder money here nowadays then many other places.
as for crime stats, they are fake as fuck. our politicians are on the woke train and refuse to correctly count crime statistics by foreigners. even the news papers will hide the nationality of foreigners when they get arrested for some atrocity. but the Swiss people know, they see it, whether its the increased violence at schools, or in nightclubs or on the street.
the right svp party has actually introduced a law to force authorities to correctly identify criminals. no more saying Zürich man robbed so and so, when its an foreigner with residency or a naturalized foreigner.
