Almost like the warning label on medications.
Although, drinking prior to may be recommended oddly enuff.

Drinking you say? Why yes indeed. I am drinking some Natural Ice 5.9% ALC/VOL and yes indeed it does give you a wallop of a hangover...

If it came via a meme, it's as good as proven science or Gospel.

Any fringe rag will do when seeking out medical or scientific information.

The opinions of the ignorant, if written in caps, especially red caps, carry -far- more weight in debate or discussion than a calmly delivered peer-reviewed study produced by dozens of highly trained specialists, researchers and scientists.

When outnumbered in an argument of facts versus opinion, it's often easy to create a second or third account under a nom de plume and pretend to have support from the non-existent allies for whatever (often braindead) hypothesis is being asserted.

Some very skilled growers are humble and take the time to explain things in ways that lay-persons/non-science persons can understand. Others can be more pompous and make unfounded assumptions about others' pasts when (the other) encounters legitimate problems and needs information/help. (Yes, there's elitist assholes in ANY crowd. Likely even among monks. Certainly, among priests).

It's very easy to express camaraderie online. It often costs nothing. Making the internet a fine place for both virtue-signaling and tantrums. Sometimes by the same persons, but usually not.
