i not expecting much from this tursday nights game but its football and i will enjoy the action
we are heading out friday/ saturday and i wont be back until monday at teh earliest
i cant wait to get out in the desert, away from the high cliffs we went to last time in the mountains
we are game planning a menu right now
im going to make a beans and rice dish on friday, its easier to do most of the cooking at home, and then we just reheat it at the camp site
i dont really eat much jerky but i do like meats; the last time i had jerky i just chewed it up and let it site im my lip like a big ol' dip
ill bring a couple sausages i can just burn over the fire, like hot dogs on a stick to add some meat
we are going to make a bbq chicken in the insta pot toorrow and i will bring some of that too, just reheat in a hot pan and add to anthying you want
/or eat on bread roll
the mrs dosnet eat meat so i need to have things she can eat but i just add meat to
because it just me and the mrs going im going to go mess meat, but if i was rolling out with the boys i would bring more meat
i dont mind cooking meat over an open fire, more yakitori style stuff, but we also have a protable gas burner we bring to heat water and i can cook eggs and stuff ilke that no problem
when we made the italian beef like you discribed last time we used the jared jardenia stuff and it had a vinegar taste to it as well
it ent great with the beef and was awesome over a nice crusty bread
ther are some nice hikes around the place we are going so we will have some nice walks and the desert at night is always fun
rams det dosent sound like a fun game and the lions are looking worse and worse every week
i was suprised that the bills went for it last night instead of putting up 3pts and going into ot
browns are not playing ike i thought they would but sould still be a playoff team if they can get right
dallas with out dak is not a 5-1 team
i like their denfense but they need dak leading them
i tihnk we have some baseball tonight and then football tomorrow
im already stagin my gear for the weekend and getting ready for some outdoor fun
kick ass brother and enjoy those sandwiches my man!

A nice 2-3 day weekend out in nature honestly sounds like a good time. A nice way to unplug and tune out for a bit.
Eating a plant based diet is never a bad thing, I think Chris Paul the basketball player went to a plant based diet a couple years ago and at 36-37 he’s still playing at a high level, even got a nice contract extension from the phoenix suns. Tom Brady also eats mostly plants, not much meat, and he’s tearing up the league at 44 when vinny testeverde was the last 44yr old QB and was a backup who barely played at the time. So even if you barely eat any meat cause the mrs is a vegetarian it’s not a bad thing at all. Plus beans and rice I think is a complete protein meal so you shouldn’t suffer any malnutrition even if you do a bunch of hiking/exercise.

I was wondering what your meal prep was during camping trips, most people I see on you tube have no issue cooking meat over a campfire (sometimes they bring a cast iron grate to cook on or a skillet, etc) or portable stove. At a minimum they heat up water for coffee and to rehydrate dehydrated meals like mountain house stuff. I guess during camping trips meal prep can take up more time than meal prep at home, since you don’t have a microwave, stove/oven, access to restaurants etc.

Mayfield wants to play for the Browns on TNF so we’ll see how effective he is; they were a 10 win team last year, won a playoff game before losing in the divisional round but with all their injuries this year (without hunt and chubb, Jarvis landry is still injured) im not sure if they’ll progress further this year. But if they can get Mayfield signed to a reasonable long term deal then they should be pretty good next year, assuming they have better health. But with the ravens, chiefs, chargers, bills in the AFC, I cant really expect them to go far this season, especially when Mayfield needs shoulder surgery.

The only interesting thing about the rams-lions game would be Stafford playing against his old team; he didn’t leave on bad terms so maybe he’ll take it easy on them but otherwise I expect the rams to win easily.

MLB playoffs have been going on, and also the NBA season started, so yeah, this is the favorite time of year for a lot of sports fans. You got MLB, NFL, NBA and NHL all going on at the same time, until early Nov when MLB ends.

its funny how important food is to some people
the mrs told me the other day how i put so much though and effort into my meals only to eat them alone in front of the tv
/hopefully watching sports
i love to eat and enjoy every bite
i like to do as much of the prep as i can before we get out in the field
its just easier chopping things and doing most of the prep/ cooking at home, and then just reheating things at the camp site
like you mentioned, its easy to heat water on the gas stove and ive cooked all kinds of things over n open flame
plus its a lot more fun when you dont have to have to think about what you are going to eat and just heat and eat
i am going to birng a cooler with this time, chock full ice (need that for my potatoe juice) and of course other good stuff, plus a cast iron pan and will probably use that to reheat the bbq chicken we are making tonight
i try and eat good like the mrs but you know how it is brother
i like meat in my sandwiches and have a thing for burgers and fried chicken
but i can also be happy with corn bread and beans
/did i ever tell you about the time when i dident eat meat back when i was young?
you are totally right about how right now is a great time for sports fans!
i dont really watch baseball anymmore, but i will tune in during the playoffs/ws
not much intot he round ball but i between the football and the mlb games i have planety on my plate
i got up super early today to get in some trail time and was ttreated to an awesome full moon
/hunters moon
it was freaking freezing cold and it took a good 15-20 min of hiking before i dident mind the chill
you are rpobbaly right about the browns, they seem to be a step away but thats a big jump to make it to the next lefvel
if baker isnt 100% that does ot help them make that move and the rest of the afc looks like it has some great tallent
so who do you like in the afc right now? b.more is playing like a top team and i still like the chargers (while still maintaining my f-spanos outlook)
az is red hot in the nfc west right now and if dak is healthy i like dem boys
/notice how each of these teams are bneing led by their D
rams are in the mix BIGGLY, especially when the defense turns it up to 11
did you ever check out that heavy metal movie? you could probally watch the whole flick on youtube if you just cobbled together the pieces
yuo cna feel the chill in the air and i cant wait for the fall/winter season
the holidays are just around the corner and i hope you are havig the best week brother

You make some great points about food prep when camping and just food in general. Food is one of the great pleasures in life but it can be just as devastating an addiction as drugs/alcohol, money, sex etc.
But I hear ya on what the mrs said about putting so much time into what food youre going to eat in front of the tv, lately I cant watch sports unless I have pizza and beer in front of the tv. Not sure why that is, hopefully it’s just a phase lol.

Do you always have a fire when youre camping or is Cali still putting restrictions on that since half the freaking state was burning down? I had a friend who liked to have fires in his backyard firepit and he’d cook simple things like hot dogs or s’mores over the fire. But ur right, it’s best to have all the meal prep done beforehand so you’re not figuring things out at the camp site, plus it's just easier when you have an actual kitchen with a sink, countertop etc.
I haven’t been camping since I was a kid but for myself I’d probably try to bring stuff like burger patties or chicken pieces and try to cook that over a campfire if I could. But you have more experience so maybe stuff like that is more trouble than it’s worth, you’re out there to enjoy nature not cook lol.

For the next few weeks, until the world series ends, we have MLB, NFL, NHL and NBA. So yeah, if youre into all 4 sports you’ll have your hands full until early Nov. The NBA is my second favorite sport to watch after football so I’ll be watching some of that, without any Chicago teams not sure ill watch too much baseball. I guess the padres are out of the playoffs too?

Baker has already been ruled out of tonight's game, it’ll be Case Keenum starting for the browns. Im thinking he should probably get surgery and be done for the year but im not sure he would do that until they become eliminated from the playoffs.
For the AFC, Bills Chiefs Ravens and Chargers are still the best teams, Titans Steelers Bengals might be a thing too. I’d still have to bet money on bills chiefs being the best of the AFC though, ravens have had a lot of injuries (not just to their RBs either) and Chargers are, well, the chargers and eff Spanos too, he doesn’t deserve a championship.

Youre right, the NFC probably has more competition, with the Bucs Cardinals Rams Cowboys Packers all vying for supremacy. In the end I think it’ll be between the Bucs Cards and Rams for the NFC championship. If I had to pick, I would have to go with Rams-Cardinals for the NFC championship game. They meet again in Week 14, Dec 13[SUP]th[/SUP], so that should be an exciting game.

I downloaded the heavy metal movie and saw a little on my computer, saw some of the bit where the lady in a bikini walks into a bar and decapitates 3 orcs who look like they want to rape her. I might have to watch it on my computer to keep it on the down low, since I doubt my woman will be pleased.

A $100 return on a $5 bet is a 20-1 payoff which is pretty darn good, Hawk, but I guess it all depends on the odds you get. There’s probably lots of bars/pool halls that run informal sports bets/pools. I’ve been getting into some prop bets recently with a website/app called Monkey knife fight. Crazy name I know but apparently it’s owned by Bally’s, the casino operator (also used to own the Bally’s fitness center which finally went out of business in 2016) so it should be legit. I haven’t lost my shirt yet but we’ll see what happens.

that sounds like this "squares" game i used to play where you just bought squares on this board, hawk
each square had a score for both teams
supposedly, because it was like a lottery it wasnt straight gambling
but you could often cover certain squares if you we in

we can have a fire in the fire ring whenre we are going this time, but that other place you could not really have open fires
/some wilderness places dont allow open fires, but you can have a gas fire
its a lot more fun when we cn have the whole open fire and i cant wait for this weekend
cooking over an open fire is fun for things like hot dogs and marshmellos. but for most meats it a chore
like you have to sit over it for a while making sure it dosent burn
you can put a pan on the hot coals after the fire and that cooks great and we will sometimes thorw potatoes wrapped in foil inot the fire
/th mrs likes sweet potatoes
but it so easy to heat water and just dunk your sack ( of food)
hot beans and rice in 20m
i am all about having my food set before game time, im making ham steak and cheesy potates for dinner tonight
/ no rookies mistakes here brother
most nights im eatting alone anyways so why sit at the tble to eat
your pics for both the afc/ nfc sounds about right, especially if some of the big name qbs are dealing with injuries
i lean towards the teams with the sweet-D to be in the mix at the end of the season, but kc and mahommie could still suprise
/wild card
thats rad you have the movie, its pretty good
there arent a lot of "positive stories in the film, buts its heavy metal and i kicks ass
check it out and i hope you like it for what it is
dont walk around with your dork hangin out

Yeah, cooking meat over an open fire can be a pain unless you want to constantly be flipping the meat or turning it on a rotisserie, ur right it’s best to wait till the fire burns down to coals and then grill or pan fry (assuming you brought a grill or skillet) but you don’t want to spend a lot of time cooking (building a fire, waiting for it to burn down, then cooking) so your one bag method sounds way more convenient. Turn on a portable gas stove, boil some water, heat up your bag and voila in 10 mins youre chowing down.

Im not sure I’ve ever played squares but those tickets sound like a version of that except maybe you don’t get to pick your scores like with squares? But it’s something casual and fun to do while youre hanging at the bar drinking and watching sports so im sure plenty of small town bars have been doing that for a long time.

Browns were without a bunch of starters last night but still pulled out a win over the Broncos. Bridgewater has a quad injury so his throws were off a bit more than usual, plus the broncos had a lot of defensive starters missing also. Case Keenum might end up starting for the browns all year if baker needs surgery on his non-throwing shoulder, he apparently has a fracture as well as a torn labrum. He seemed ok on the sideline, wasn’t wearing a sling and holding a notepad with his left hand but it’s when he gets hit on it or lands on it that it really bothers him. Keenum is a capable backup, not very athletic or a very strong arm but he’s accurate and guided the Vikings to an NFC championship game back in 2017 (when the eagles won a superbowl) so on a talented team he can still win you a lot of games. Browns D is still legit and even their 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] string RB (a guy undrafted out of college, worked on a fishing boat for a year before hooking up with an AAF – remember that league?- team then getting signed by the browns to play special teams) balled out last night.

yeehaawww brother, what a crazy weekend of football
turns out i missed one heck of a game with the rams v the lions
det threw everything they had at us, but in the end goff goofed, whith help from a.don and j.ramsey
and whats the deal with kc? was excited for this thursdays night game with a.rog going head to head with kyler money; but i hear gb has thier top (2?) reciever(s) out for the china flu
i have to admit i was totally wrong about murrey and he is one of the most exciting qb in the league right now
/that plus they have a for real D
i like the rams this weekend but then the schedule starts to get a little tougher
the desert was great and we were hit with crazy high winds because of the bomb cyclone
checked out some slot canyons and hiked up some pretty good mills
rolled my ankle on the first day and by the end of the trip i was hobbling around like an old man
but it was a lot of fun and we found some new fun places to check out as well
hope your week os rocking and rolling and you are enjoying the ride

I’m glad your trip went well, except for the ankle injury. You take a first aid kit right? Were you able to wrap it tight or just try to walk it off?

I didn’t watch the game but saw some highlights on redzone, and ur right, seems like Detroit went all out trying to beat the rams, they were successful on an onside kick and fake punt but goff goofed on a couple plays that resulted in turnovers and the rams pulled out a closer than expected win. I think Stafford has as much of a chance at MVP as brady or kyler or josh allen do, the way he’s playing. If he gets really good odds, I might lay a bet down on him to win, if I ever get an account set up.

Cardinals beat up on the Texans and now face the 6-1 Packers on Thursday night football, should be a great game but like u said, Devante Adams tested positive for covid and so may not play even though he’s vaccinated. Also Allan Lazard is out, but they might get MVS (Marquez valdes-scantling) back so that will help. Im guessing aaron jones will be more heavily involved in the passing game. Cardinals are favored by 6, I’d favor them by more than that at home, fully healthy and the packers without the nfl’s best receiver.

I was surprised too at KC only putting up 3pts vs the titans. Derrick Henry grinded out yards on the ground and im guessing they kept mahomes on the sideline, and then when the KC offense took the field turnovers bit them in the azz again. The D is whatever at this point, if they can get control of these turnovers they’ll starting winning again. And being 3-4 with 10 games left isnt the end of the world, even if they sneak into the playoffs as a 6 or 7 seed they can go on a roll and maybe even win a championship if mahomes can be superman again.

Bears looked awful once again on offense, almost as bad as they looked against the Browns. Fields had no protection behind awful pass blocking but didn’t help himself with his lack of ball security. I’ve seen him fumble in every game when he gets hit in the pocket, he’s going to have to learn to hold onto that ball even when being blind-sided.

i wrapped it up a little but was not going to let it slow me down, we did a ton of hiking and it still hurts
one trick i used was to wrap the ace wrap under the sock and tape (duct tape in this case) over the sock; it restricts movement but still lets you put weight on the joint
went to a couple slot canyons in the anza borego and found about a half dozen more to explore, the place is rad!
/some you can drive a 4x4 down
we ended up finding more places to check out and we are already planning our next adventure
i still believe in mahommie and like you said, if kc is still in the playoff picture
but they dont look anywhere near as polished as they did and hopefully andy ried gets them heading in the right direction
i guess you are right and stafford is kind of on the periphery of the mvp talk
so far it doesnt look like the rams are really clicking in some ways and if thery get hot they are definitely going be putting up big numbers on offense while being light out on d
i like the titans right now, but how long can they run henry before his numbers fall off
this would normally be the mid point of the season but with a new 17g schedule, i guess game 9 is?
cant wait for tonight game and i cant wait for the young gun to mix it up with one of the goats
found a weed pipe today in the costco parking lot! it was filled with some kind of balck tarry stuff, more like resin than dabs
i took it home and washed the shit out of it and now i have this cool new glass piep!
hope you are having a great week baba and are ready for the weekend!
what are you plans for trick or treat day?

Haha, sounds like you did the “old tape it up tight as you can” job that football players do when they tweak their ankle. Although I think they tend to tape up their ankles real tight before games anyway, they like to wrap it around the ball of their foot too. Sometimes the running backs have so much tape around their ankle and feet that I wonder how they can even flex their foot.

Sounds like you had some fun exploring. Did you run into any other people in the canyons? For some reason that would annoy me, I think. I’d be like, part of the reason I’m out here is to get AWAY from people.

Brady is on pace for a 5k yard 50td season and if he gets there and the bucs finish 14-3 or better I think he wins the MVP. Amazing to be 44yrs old and win an mvp in a major American sport. I think Nolan ryan was the last 40yr old who was still pretty good in his sport, Jordan was 40 with the wizards and was a washed up jump shooter at that time. Also jerry rice was still getting 1k yards at 40.
But Stafford is right behind him in TDs and yards and depending on how the next 10 games goes could overtake him. Im sure he doesn’t care about that though he just wants a ring at this point in his career.

We’ll see if mahomes and the chiefs can turn it around and be a top seed in the AFC by playoff time. They might have to take a mulligan on this season I’m thinking. But mahomes is still only 25, they have a good 12 years of contending for superbowls with him so even if this season sucks im not going to feel sorry for them.

I think the cutoff for RB’s is 370 touches (carries plus receptions) in a season, anymore than that then the RB risks a lot of future injuries. Derrick Henry is on pace for something like 450 touches this season, but he’s also had a ton of work the last couple seasons and still seems to be holding up well. Guess there’s a benefit to being 6’3” and 250lbs.

Nice find on the weed pipe, I think I’ve found one or two in my day as well but they were wood or metal. Hard to find a glass pipe on the ground that’s not broken or chipped. But at least now you have a pipe that if you do lose or break it you can shrug and say well I didn’t pay for that anyway.

Packers surprisingly beat the cardinals last night, 3 turnovers (2 int’s and a punt fumble) killed AZ’s chances. Rondale moore looks like he’ll be a future studly WR but he tipped the first int and also accidentally touched the punt allowing the packers to recover it. Also kyler threw a perfect back shoulder pass to AJ green who looked like he was blocking and only saw it after his defender intercepted it. If not for that AZ would have won or at least tied it up. But give credit to GB, they were down a whole lot of players (top 3 WR’s, both starting Off tackles, top 2 centers, 2 of their best defenders, etc etc) and pulled out a win. Kyler did not have a good game stats wise but both int’s weren’t really his fault plus the RBs got all 3 of their TDs; still they racked up as many yards as GB did it’s just their time of possession was almost 2-1 in favor of GB. Like Mahomes, maybe the best way to contain kyler is play keep away with him.

what a great game last night, you are right that it could have easily went the cards way, but the pack pulled out a big win against the last undefeated team in the nfl
/old miami players breath huge a sigh of relief
im not ready to write off the chiefs just yet, there is still a lot of football to be played and they have a great qb and head coach
at 3-4 they are still in the mix; excluding the division winners i think we will get additional wild card team this year
i think the chiefs will step on the gas at some point; they might not win the west (chargers) but they could still make it to the playoffs
/afc.w = three playoff teams!
maybe there is something to bradys weird diet and life style
he is playing like a goat at >40 like you said; tompa bey is the team to beat right now and i think they look good for the rest of the season
rams are playing ok and i hear c.akers might come back; the defense is stepping it up and i cant wait for money stafford to get hot
we did see some people on the trails but they were pretty cool
one was an old vietnameese ouple who were taking pictures with old school nikons film cameras, they even took our picture, me and the mrs together
next time im goign to check out some of the 4x trails and see if we can find a plce to do some primitive camping
the truck has a lot of ass being a long wheel base so i wont be able to fit in certain areas but we can still get pretty far into the wild
i was talking witha friend who said as long as you have a container you can have fires in the wild
he uses a tub from the inside of a washing machine to contiain his fires; i have an extra smokey joe bbq that i could bring to light a small fire
cant wait for the games to ick off tomorrow and hope you have a great halloween

Yeah, 2 very good teams going at it (cardinals and packers) it often comes down to who has more turnovers and more crucial turnovers. AZ fumbled a punt and GB recovered at the goal line setting up an easy TD, and AZ threw an int into the endzone on what should have been a game winning play.
AZ was also without JJ Watt, who has an injured shoulder and probably needs season ending surgery. Also they had chandler jones coming back from covid and he lost weight/looks weaker than he did before. This is a contract year for jones and he turned down a 1yr extension from AZ, said it was an insult. He had a monster 5 sacks in week 1 but hasn’t done much since, maybe if he gets back to 100% by the end of the season and has a good playoff run he’ll get a fat bag from another team.

I agree, chiefs have just run into some bad luck, all those tipped passes by mahomes that used to end in incompletions the last couple years are now ending up as interceptions. But also he’s bailing out of the pocket more, even when he doesn’t need to. Normally he’s so good at throwing on the move and his receivers especially tyreek are so good at scramble drills that it works out but so far it’s been more disruptive to their offense than helpful. I think if he stays patient, hangs in the pocket and takes easy throws (dump offs, screens, slants, etc) they can grind out drives, keep their defense off the field, and keep from falling behind so much that they have to play heroball/deep passes to try to catchup.

Rams are going to beat up on the Texans this week, so should be an easy win for them (they’re favored by 16pts!). I heard there’s video of cam akers working out, just 3 months after he tore his achilles. That’s amazing, boy must be getting that real deal HGH, not that cheap Chinese knockoff version. Haha I’m kidding we all know everyone in the league is on ped’s.

Sounds like youre getting some good use out of the truck, that’s great. I know it was a haul driving it back and getting it registered. Yeah 4x4 vehicles aren’t usually small, maybe this is overkill but maybe you could fit an ATV in the bed and use that to drive up into some really wild places. But that would take up a lot of your room for camping stuff and food/water, plus ATV’s aren’t cheap. But I know some people who go camping or RVing and they have toy haulers, a trailer for dirtbikes and 4 wheelers and stuff, you can go a lot further into the wild than on foot but it’s also more dangerous on hilly and uneven terrain, you could seriously injure yourself if you flip over on one.

how was your halloween baba? get to hand out any candy
we got zero trick or treaters but a neighbor holds a haunted house i went through
it was fun and they really go all out
i could tow a trailer and haul some toys out to the desert, but like you said they are spendy
the next best hting would be to bring our mountain bike , but not everyplace we go has good mtn bike trails
in the desert they range from board walk rides to super steep and rocky
we are dialing in our method and i am really enjoying the truck bed camping
the dallas game was fun to watch last night and i enjoyed the rams blowing out hou
the chargers got out played on several levels yesterday, but i think they are stil better than 75%+ of the nfl
bears young qb looked pretty good moving all over the field and we will see how he looks down the road
we get kc v the giants tonight and this should bring the ciefs back to .500
looks like d.nenrey could be out for the season; this is a big change in the titans offense
cant wait for the game tonight

Unfortunately, we haven’t seen trick or treaters in a few years now. We were thinking of putting a bowl of candy at the end of the driveway, maybe next year we’ll do that haha.
That’s cool that your neighbor set up a little haunted house, some people get way into Halloween so good for them if they can spread a little holiday spirit to the neighborhood.
Yeah, a mountain bike might be good to bring when camping, but like you said good safe trails are hard to find. Have you ever heard of a fatbike? It’s basically a mountain bike with oversized tires, good for riding off trails.
Rams were walking all over Houston, I guess the Texans are trying to trade away their best players to set up a rebuild. I think the trade deadline is this week so if deshaun is going to leave it will be soon. The lawyer for his accusers will probably drive a hard bargain to settle his cases since any team that trade for deshaun will want his pending lawsuits to be settled beforehand.
I saw some of the chargers game and yeah Belichick has justin herbert’s number, I think last year the patriots beat the chargers 45-0 so no unexpected he would struggled again. But give credit to Herbert he still battled till the end, threw a TD at the end of the game that could have been picked but he had no hesitation. I guess if they could have recovered the onside kick they could have tied it up but of course Belichick is going to have good special teams so game over.
Matt Nagy was out with covid and fields looked pretty decent, especially with his running. Hopefully they stick to whatever worked against the niners when nagy comes back, seemed like he ran more RPOs but im not sure.
Yeah, King Henry is going to have foot surgery tomorrow and will be out 6-10 weeks, at 8 weeks it would be the end of the regular season so likely this ends his season. Rumor has it that maybe they’ll sign Adrian Peterson who’s a street free agent and fits their play action power running game but we’ll see, they might trade for Marlon Mack (unlikely since the colts are a divisional rival) or MG3 (broncos could get out of his contract, get a pick and also let their rookie javonte Williams who’s looked very good be the bellcow back).
Ill be watching MNF tonite alos, we’ll see if KC can control the turnovers and get back on track, also I need giants rookie WR kadarious toney to score at least 7 fantasy points since Herbert fell flat against the pats. We shall see…

trade deadline is passing and we are seeign some action around the league
it looks like there were no takers for d.wats; i think most teams are avoiding him for numerous reasons
/legal troubles and a bad look
kind of makes you wonder if he should have just settled and moved on with his life

cant wait to see how the new rams d looks
the patriots have the chargers number and billy b just threw too much at the young qb
he missed a few throws and we saw a few plays where no one was on the right page
they are still a solid team and have one of the hottest qb in the we4st right now (herb, carr, mahommie...)
ive heard of the fat bike and was thinking of getting one
the fat tires make for a super plash ride and are no harder to turn than a 29er
i thnk the mrs is all in on another trip out to the canyons
i found some videos online of where we were and it looked like fun
hope you are having a great weekend and are ready for that extra hour to add to your day!

Hey Disko, thanks for checking in. Hope youre doing well, all things considered.
Yeah, the saints defense made things rough for Brady, got a bunch of turnovers and sacks on him. They beat the Bucs twice during the regular season last year, one time by 30pts, but lost in the playoffs when they met up for a 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] time. Brady might be the NFL MVP at the end of the year, but he can have bad games too.
Im not sure who will be the saints QB from now on, Siemian is a decent backup I guess and Taysom hill should be back from a concussion soon.

Can’t believe the broncos trade Von Miller, their superbowl MVP, to the rams for 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] and 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] picks in next year’s draft. He’s still a productive pass rusher, ranking top 10 in QB pressures and on pace for double digit sacks this season. But he is 32 and maybe the donkeys don’t want to give him another 20M/yr contract, even though they’re paying him 9M this season. Rams are on the hook for only 750K this season, the last year of his contract. But with Donald, leonard Floyd (who’s looked better than he ever has in a bears uniform, dammit!) and miller, they probably have the best D-line in the league, better than the WFT (whose defense for some reason sucks despite the line talent). Also, their D wasn’t the same in the playoff loss to the packers last year when Donald played with bruised ribs, so the extra depth means they can survive injuries and still be effective.

People who play fantasy football are wondering who’s going to take over the titans backfield, All day might still have some juice but at 36 can he really reproduce what King Henry does? Maybe one or two plays a game but not 25-30 carries a game. It’s like that saying old athletes have, from the country song: “I ain't as good as I once was, But I'm as good once as I ever was.”

i think the broncos got a fair deal in the trade
like you said, von is getting up there in yeqars and to keep him would mean a big money deal for den
the rams got him on the cheap for the rest of the season and will worry about his contract extension after this year is over
like you mentioned, he brings a lot of heat to the rams D making it one of the most fearsome fronts around
/ plus with j.ram in the back field (and a lot of hot shit young guns), this could be the piece that moves us into another level
/at least he is another man to chase k.murrey around
going to stop by and grab some of those which whcies tonight
the mrs won another bet and gets her choice of sanwiches again! she goes with the veggie and i wil get a couple of those wicked wiches for $5
/its a grinding deal man
we are going to watch the rocky horror picture shpow tonight, a left over from our halloween movie list
plus i might twist up one of those really fat joints
/lots of outdoor goodness
we are also making some more nutter and some baked good ths weekend
i am a big fan of ap and think he might still have some gas in the tank
but i dont see him filling king.henesseys shoes in tn
i wonder if this mean that ten reverts back to the mean
we will see and cant wait for tomorrows night action to kick off!
hope you are having a great start to your day and you kick some ass this week brother!
