Tuner or Muscle?

I would imagine Rez has a tuned car of some sort to be running a 3.6, the SRT10 is a full second slower.

Only factory cars I can think of that run 3.6s are 911 turbos, GT-Rs, Zr1, LP560-4, Scuderia, etc. All super cars.

I love seeing a clean, fast, import...really amazing what people are making these little 4 cylinders do..

But, nothing better then a full on street/strip 69 camaro..

If I were to have a bunch of money designated JUST for cars, here are some I wouldn't mind owning..

1) Cadillac CTS-V
2) Zr1
3) 03/04 Cobra (as someone already mentioned)
4) 69 camaro
5) 97 TT Supra
6) Chevy II
7) I actually like the Pontiac G8 GT, I think its a very clean, affordable looking vehicle that does not attract attention that would be perfect for a good commute with a bunch of #age in the trunk hehehe.
8) Anything/everything else I dont feel like typing lol!

EDIT: This is the video that made me love supras...very clean cars, very capable of being VERY fast.

Yeah, I don't understand. Are you NOT talking about the Dodge SRT-10 like the one linked above? Why do you think Rez drives one of those?

i googled his specs, didnt figg (or didnt want ta think so low of him) him ta drive a vette... come on guys, is this all we have ta work with, mark a word here and now, as i said, see ya at the light, lunch will be on me..... HHB :shooty:

and i was referin to the drivetrain pakage more then the chassis, sorry fer the confusion, im a "truck" sort of fella

moving my baby next week to the paint shop,
it's such a clean rust free car that my guys taking
it down to bare metal/prep/prime/paint/clear/etc

after that I've got to find a qualified repair shop
to replace the rag top for me, gonna cost a grand.

I'm going with the stock medium avocado green as
it's a great retro color for 70s ford/merc muscle.......

I have to say I like both especially new camaro ss2, but on the other side I fell in love with the rx-7 fd3s it's a drift car...

I like both but own a 240sx with an sr swap with upgrades and coilovers vlsd 16psi. Around
300 to the wheels very fun

(turbo blue motor) 456 mini spool in a 9in narrowed rearend ebiach adjustable suspension all the way around we run outlaw class if anyone is wondering .....ive put away 8sec 68 camaros/novas/chevelles with this car on quiet a few occassions no tuner wants none i know that it will take american ford or chevy muscle to run with this pony did i mention this car is fully street legal and runs high 6's low 7's in the 1320 my next project is a 04 mustang with a big block 460 bored and stroked out dual 4's carb motor

damn. thats a lot of compression. how much boost?

And how much timing do you have to pull to run it? My guess is you run ~10LBS at that compression and are making about 850hp?
I am an old school ford guy but am pretty up on turbo motors since owning my PT. Hell that little car will make 500whp on a stock bottom end

Never be an 8sec car but Oh My God how it surprises "fast" cars.
Though I have to say I would not mind losing to that mustang just for the thrill of running.

there is a guy in the building i work at has one of those and a GTR. i have to wipe the drool off my face every time i see one of them parked. then think to myself i need to win the lottery.

That car has been twin turbo'd and it is not a V10. V8TT, and I would bet it makes way more than 525 at the crank. Probably 600 something. A tt V10 would pump over 1000.

The V10 R8 is a Audi Gallardo. It would be much smarter to buy a used 06 Gallardo for 100k and have a Lambo, then buy a 250k V10 R8 that no one will know is different from a regular R8.

R8s are the sexiest cars made right now though.

If you want to tune one, definitely go Gallardo, if you are straight ballin. Buy this...

yea i know its the factory v8 turbocharged. maybe what i wrote was a little confusing... but i meant for the price of the v10 r8 150k
id rather just get the r8 for 110k and turbocharge it for 30k and still be faster, and cheaper than the v10. that 525 is at the wheels (640@the crank)at a measly 6psi. with a built engine it would be over 1k easily. that r8 gt looks pretty badass.
i dont care if it is import or domestic, as long as there is a fat hairdryer under the hood, id drive it :dance013: :D
